Ayaka was officially announced as one of the characters ing the roster with version 2.0. Genshin Impact held a slew of new content within a live stream demonstrating all of the things coming to the game with this new update. Outside of Ayaka, players will be able to take on new bosses like the Pyro Hypostatsis and Perpetual Mechanical Array. Not only that but an entirely new region will be added to the game for the first time since the Dragonspine expansion. Ayaka is a Cyro character that can be dangerous with the correct build. She's built to be a DPS character if players need to fill that role. Here is everything to equip for her.

  • Weapon: The Mistsplitter Reforged Sword: This is also being introduced in version 2.0. Alternatively, players can use the Primordial Jade Cutter or Blackcliff Longsword without needing to pull for new content.
  • Artifacts: Blizzard Strayer: This is a full 4-set and is the best set for Cyro characters.
  • : Diona or Rosaria: This is a great set for combining energy to help Ayaka use her elemental abilities.

As for talents, players should always invest in the first ones that become available. If players are serious about adding Ayaka to their roster, then collecting the proper Artifacts beforehand will go a long way. It will be interesting where this character will land in of quality when players finally get their hands on her outside of the beta. She has the potential to make her way high on the tier list.
