Turning Red is sure to be seen as one of these. Focusing on a young Canadian girl who discovers she has inherited her family’s mystical connection with the red panda, it has all of the magic one expects from the studio.
The dialogue is dazzling and, just as importantly, it also explores the sorts of weighty issues people have come to expect from Pixar, including mother and daughter relationships, the trials of adolescence, and the immigrant experience.

This is something of a golden age for live-action remakes of classic Disney movies, but Chip ‘n Dale is notable for being a remake of a relatively obscure television show. There’s no question that Home Team, in which he plays an NFL coach who, during suspension from his own team, takes up coaching his teenage son’s. James excels at elevating just this kind of fish-out-of water story into something truly hilarious.

Tyson’s Run is remarkable for a number of reasons, not least is the fact that it includes an autistic person as its main character, a young man who strives to become a successful marathon runner. What’s more, it also manages to become more than just a regular sports movie.
In large part, this stems from the power of Major Dodson as Tyler, given that Dodson is autistic in real life. With its skill at combining the sports and family elements of its story, it becomes a very moving movie.
The Ice Age Adventures Of Buck Wild

The Ice Age series is one of the most beloved animated franchises. Though Buck was only a secondary character in the later entries in the series, he finally gets his own chance to shine in this movie, which follows more of his adventures.
