Taylor Vince plays Otis, the hunter/farmhand who accidentally shoots Carl (Chandler Riggs) during the "Bloodletting" episode. After the incident, it is Otis who introduces Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Carl, and Shane (Jon Bernthal) to beloved series regular, Hershell (Scott Wilson). Otis is betrayed by Shane in the follow-up episode, "Save the Last One."

Carter - Ethan Embry

Mike - Aldis Hodge

After surviving an attack from The Governor (David Morrissey), Michonne seeks refuge in an abandoned car for the night. While asleep, she dreams of her time with Mike (Hodge) and his friend Terry (Brandon Fobbs) prior to the apocalypse. The dreams turn nightmarish when Mike and Terry turn into walkers.

In the penultimate episode, "Wildfire," Dr. Jenner is seen sampling DNA from the viral pandemic the series revolves around. Denise Cloyd - Merrit Wever

Beginning with the second episode of Season six, popular TV ad film actress Merrit Wever enjoyed a 9-episode run on the show as Alexandria's substitute doctor, Denise Cloyd.

After revealing her fear of becoming a surgeon, Denise serves as a psychiatrist to help PTSD-ridden survivors. As Tara's (Alanna Masterson) girlfriend as well, Denise has one of the largest character arcs of any guest star on the series to date. Her accidental death from an arrow shot through her eye by Dwight with Daryl's (Norman Reedus) crossbow was sad for fans.

Gamma - Thora Birch

American Beauty and Ghost World star Thora Birch enjoyed a memorable 9-episode guest-spot on TWD as Mary, aka Gamma, a member of The Whisperers.

Mays - Robert Patrick

Robert Patrick has played some of the all-time best villains in cinematic history and brings the same intensity to his role as Mays in TWD. In Season 10 Episode 19, "One More," Patrick frightens as Mays, an unhinged man who kidnaps Aaron and makes Gabriel play Russian roulette.

Despite his terrifying nature, Mays makes the mistake of freeing the men from captivity. Afterward, Mays is killed by Gabriel using the mace clamped to Aaron's arm.

Severed Head - Johnny Depp

More of a glorified cameo appearance than a legit guest-starring spot, Johnny Depp's severed head was used in the 12th episode of Season 6. According to showrunner and FX artists Grego Nicotero, "we had sculpted an emaciated version of a dummy head for something and we used Johnny Depp's head as a basis just for a clay sculpt."

Depp's severed head appears on the ground before a car, sitting on the right hand side of two other decapitated heads.
