Ted Lasso Season 3’s Cut Nate Scenes Did More Harm Than Good For The Character

Ted Lasso season 3 was far from perfect, but the cutting of some crucial Nate scenes didn’t leave the character in a satisfying spot for the finale.

While Grimes was more of a ing character, he was the person working when NASA first received communication from Matt Damon's Mark Watney. Grimes is quick to point out that answering yes and no questions is not practical long-term. However, Grimes is the one to decode that Watney was using hexadecimal, which eventually led to increased communication between NASA and Watney who was stranded on Mars.
