Love taking down huge monsters and aliens? If you do, then you will love Monster Hunter: World. It allows you to venture into a new world where you’re tasked with the role of tracking down and slaying vicious monsters in spine-chilling battles. You are also required to create gear from their remains, and then go on to take on even more ferocious beasts. The new land and monster habitats play a crucial role in the success of each quest, and it’s up to you to figure out how you can use flora and fauna to your advantage.

The thrill of this game lies in figuring stuff out. Every tiny detail, from weapons, armor pieces to skill have numbers attached it, and it’s up to you to figure out why every monster you come across behaves how it behaves so you can successfully tackle it. In other words, success doesn’t come easy in Monster Hunter World; you have to work for it. But while challenging, it’s quite exhilarating, and the sense of fulfilment that comes with achieving each feat makes it worth your while.

Game storyline aside, we like that Capcom not only moved to real consoles but it is also maximizing on the hardware features that Playstation4 and other gaming consoles bring to the table. For instance, this game has incredibly stunning 4K visuals and s HDR, which means an all-immersive monster-hunting and slaying experience. The catch? The learning curve is quite steep as the tutorials are still relatively average. Other than that, it’s a pretty awesome multiplayer game for PS4 s.

Call of Duty is one of the most positively reviewed, and also one of the best multiplayer games PS4. Released late last year, this Call of Duty game is a reboot of its 2007 first-person shooter release, and we have to say it lives up to the hype. It boasts robust single and multiplayer modes, and the storyline revolves around America’s CIA, Britain’s SAS, and a group of freedom fighters who come together to fight Russian forces for their illegal invasion into Urzikstan.

Call of duty has three main characters; Alex, an American CIA Officer, Kyle Garrick, British SAS sergeant, and Farah Karim, a rebel leader. Even though the three characters and their teams work towards similar goals, the thrill of the game lies in their different perception of the battle at hand.

Although Call of Duty is essentially a first-person shooter type of game, it has quite an array of gameplay settings. It takes on surprising twists and turns, which are equally as impressive. For instance, in one mission, you’ll be controlling security cameras to direct hostages to safety, while in another, you’ll be using satellite controlled missiles to attack the Russian Forces. It’s quite a controversial game as it also highlights the ugly side of combat. But its controversial nature has dramatically contributed to its success. In a nutshell, Call of Duty is quite challenging but equally exhilarating.

The marquee feature on this game is its stunning cinematic graphics. The publisher takes advantage of all current-gen hardware, delivering exceptional and lifelike graphics. If you want to enhance the graphics further, it’d be wise to invest in an Nvidia ray-tracing GPU.

If soccer is the cup of tea for you and your buddies, then Fifa 16 standard edition is the best multiplayer game PS4 for you. But note, although the best, it’s not the easiest game to play. For this edition, Lionel Messi was motion captured to help enhance the dribble control system. This has, in turn, made middle play more innovative than it was in previous versions as you get more control on when and even how to touch the soccer ball. However, note, you’ll have to be more objective with your ing mechanics since spamming the A and X buttons not only increase the chances of your going wrong, but also being intercepted, or even, leading to a foul. The good news is that this edition features interception intelligence which means you can always adjust the aggressiveness of your teammates.

Difficulty aside, the Fifa16 Standard edition comes with some pretty amazing tweaks. To begin with, it’s the first-ever edition to have 12-top ranked Women’s National Teams. This is not just a diversity stunt, but a much-needed addition as Women’s Football has been growing in popularity for the past few years. The menu system is nothing near perfect, but it is pretty -friendly. The game visuals are relatively average, but the overall feel is impressive. The FiFa 16 standard edition s single, local, and online multiplayer for increased versatility. It is also equipped with a Fifa Trainer feature, which means anyone, including first-time FiFa players can try their hand at this PS4 edition.

Grand Theft Auto or GTA, as its popularly known in gaming circles, has always been phenomenal, and in all honesty, Grand Theft Auto V took things a notch higher. As one of the first Rockstar Games to be consolidated to the Playstation4 and Xbox1, GTA V has much clearer and vivid graphics.

Also, Los Santos, the famously sprawling city we all know from GTA, looks far much lifelike, thanks to the additional traffic and pedestrians. Add in enhanced draw distances, improved texture details, and Los Santos’ landmarks, ghost-like deserts and oceans, all create a vivid picture of modern-day Southern California.

The plot of the game is also quite interesting. It revolves around three men; Michael, Franklin, and Trevor; who, despite their diverse backgrounds, come together in their quest for success. Michael is an ex-con who, time and time again has been arrested and convicted, and is an expert in coordinating and implementing heists and bank robberies. Despite his tough demeanor, Michael is a family man with two spoiled kids and a nagging wife.

Trevor, on the other one, is an insane, yet hilarious character who beneath his lunatic character, is very kind. Franklin, on the other hand, is just a young man from one of Las Santos ghettos, looking to escape the hood but the path he takes in pursuit of success is quite questionable. He looks up to Franklin, who is already a successful ex-con and has a flashy car and a big house.

You and your buddies can play either of the three characters. As far as gameplay is concerned, GTA V feels the same as any other GTA, only that in this case, you play in the 1st viewpoint, which makes the game feel far more real. Playing the game on PS4 becomes even more satisfying, thanks to the seamless accessibility features it brings to the table through exclusive DualShock 4.

This upgraded version of Rocket League presents an advanced sports-action themed game that provides gamers with booster-rigged racing cars that can be driven to collision with balls to achieve different goals. The game uses a unique physics system to simulate real events as well as mass and momentum to give players a sense of control.

Since it’s a new version of the previous Rocket League game, it contains the DLC of the original game. This means you can play Chaos Run, the four Battle-Cars, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Supersonic Fury. The new edition, however, adds new titles including the Proteus, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Car Pack, Triton, DC Super Heroes DLC pack, and the Vulcan Battle-Cars. The content comes pre-loaded on the cartridge, so you don’t have to use codes to the add-ons.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Car Pack stands out as it features Batmobile, the most popular Battle-Car for Rocket League. It has an extensive build and a flat hitbox that makes it easy for players to race past opponents, whether racing in the air or on the ground.  Also, the car has three antenna flags paying homage to DC Comic’s famous Trinity: Wonder Woman, Batman, and Superman.

If you’ve had your hands on previous versions of Uncharted, then you will love the lost legacy. To begin with, it revolves around two of fan-favorite characters, that is; Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross from Uncharted 4: A thief’s end.

In the lost legacy, Chloe must fight to recover an ancient artifact, and also ensure it does not land in the hands of a war profiteer. While she is quite capable, she cannot do it alone, which is why she employs the help of famed mercenary, Nadine Ross. Together, the duo must venture into the deep, scary Western Ghat mountain range, and in the process, harness their team working skills to fight their way through fierce opposition, while at the same time taking care not to throw the region into violent chaos.

Although the Lost Legacy is set after the events of the previous chapter of Uncharted, it does what other episodes in the series fail to do. That is, create a personal connection between the main character and the treasure in question. Chloe Frazer isn’t just another game character looking to solve a mystery. She is an Indian who genuinely cares about her culture, and her country’s history, and her mission, as noted, revolves around restoring cultural artifacts that will restore peace.

As with others on our list, this game also has quite stunning visuals. The only downside is that the shooting scenes are quite weird. Overall, Uncharted; the Lost Legacy is quite a challenging, yet equally fulfilling game to play.

The arrival of the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy presents a chance to revisit Crash, the first three games. A sequel of the original game, Vicarious Visions, not only introduces a range of new features but presents a remastered version of the Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, and Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back.

Its platforming is better as it retains the demanding and challenging levels of the originals redesigned in a modern and polished style that makes familiar levels appear fresh. The visuals are equally refreshing. Its HD visual upgrade hasn’t just tweaked the lighting but all the entries feature a unique glow of the Saturday morning cartoon. When combined with the water and fire effects, lush jungle foliage, and the glowing cityscapes, this new Crash Bandicoot version will keep you glued to your screen for hours. The visual upgrade is evident on the gameplay too. The enemies’ names that were previously difficult to read are now visible.

The gameplay hasn’t changed much as the enemies barely interact with the player; instead, they follow animation loops and pre-determined paths. You’ll also encounter many obstacles, sometimes extremely disheartening. For example, the one-hit deaths, and thin tolerances for success can be extremely frustrating for the player but some levels may work in your favor.

Embark on a new adventure with Borderlands’ third Super Deluxe Edition. An upgrade from Deluxe Edition, this version has all the features on the previous game and other new features, including four campaign DLC packs that introduces new challenges, story missions, and side content. It also comes with a nifty Steelbook package that contains a Butt Stallion weapon skin, which is great for collectors.

The gameplay is pretty exciting, whether you are playing solo or with friends. The publisher takes you across the galaxy where you encounter new enemies and worlds on hostile deserts, war-torn cities, and deadly bayous. If playing along with friends, the game allows you to choose between split-screen cooperative modes to fight your enemies as a team. At the end of the game, each player earns a loot regardless of the level.

You can customize your character by choosing one of the four alternatives provided. The first is Moze (The Gunner), who calls backup using an Iron Bear which, when crashed, delivers additional power. The second is Amara (The Siren) that can summon an army of fists to turn her enemies into dust. You can also choose to be Zane (The Operative) who slips into combat clothing and creates chaos, or FL4K, The Beastmaster who hunts and follows loyal creatures.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 remains one of the best RPGs designed for PCs. Originally, the publisher released the game for PCs but later developed the game for consoles in a bid to reach a wide audience, and the result was simply mind-blowing. The developer designs an incredibly detailed and satisfying gameplay thanks to the overwhelming complexity of simulation in the game.

The storyline is about a group of sorcerers facing prosecution due to the alleged use of magic to establish demonic entities. The main character and the ing cast are among the sorcerers, and their primary goal is to escape. The captivating storyline is brought to life by the attractive voice acting as each random NPC is fully voiced. The astounding sardonic sense of humor makes the story even more exciting.

What stands out about this PS4 game is the character creation feature, as players are free to create the characters to their liking. While the game requires players to use the pre-made characters along with their backstories, it’s a pretty impressive feature. Also, players can choose a bunch of ive and social skills that alter their playing style during gameplay. However, it’s impossible to develop a dunce build like in other CRPG games. This means every character created provides a way to get through the game.

Watch Dogs is one epic gaming title that lives up to its hype. Though released at the same time as other popular titles, its storyline, gameplay, and collection of weaponry remain unrivaled. It has a pretty captivating start where the lead character, Aiden Pearce, is racing on a stolen motorcycle through the city with cops hotly pursuing him. This is no new experience for Pearce, as most of his life is characterized by drama, violence, and vengeance.

Pearce’s primary goal in life is to avenge the death of his niece. This pursuit has incredibly consumed him, so he no longer cares about the trail of corpses he leaves behind. The storyline continues to unfold as Pearce continues to pursue his quest. What introduces a sense of uniqueness is the magical phone the lead character uses to find out personal details about people. Once players plow enough points, they can use the phone to shut down traffic lights, steal cars, deploy bollards, and more.

However, to unleash the phone’s capabilities, you need to hack into the local ctOS hub, presenting another unique hurdle to the player. Gamers need to choose one of the two alternatives (sneak in or out without using guns or charge in using weapons) to enter the hub. Once the player hacks the system, a range of missions open up, creating unique mini-narratives.
