9 The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You

Animated By Bibury Animation Studios, Based On The Manga Written By Rikito Nakamura And Illustrated By Yukiko Nozawa

The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You wants everyone to know exactly what the show is about from the title. It's a series with a strange yet funny name that's surprisingly accurate. 100 Girlfriends revolves around Rentarō Aijō, a boy who was rejected 100 times when looking for love. He prays to the God of Love for some help and gets much more than he bargained for.

100 Girlfriends is unapologetically cheesy. It never takes itself seriously, and that's easily one of the series' greatest strengths. Each character stands out, which is a fairly impressive feat considering just how many girlfriends the main character has and will continue to get. Overall, 100 Girlfriends is exactly what it wants to be, and it's perfect for anyone who wants to laugh as they watch Rentarō deal with one of the best problems in anime.

Pseudo Harem
Release Date
2024 - 2024

WHERE TO WATCH

Streaming

Pseudo Harem is another series that is so much more than what it appears to be. Most 'romance' anime revolve around a harem of women: they usually feature around five different girls falling in love with a bland main character. It's a boring, overused, unrealistic premise that never really offers much more than its surface. Somehow, Pseudo Harem not only reinvigorated the tired trope, but made it hilarious.

Pseudo Harem features Eiji Kitahama as a young man who wants a harem more than anything. His junior in the drama club, Rin Nanakura, is one of the best actresses around. She uses her amazing ability to bring each of her personalities to life, giving Eiji the most realistic harem in anime. It's an adorable series with a refreshing premise, and Rin's voice acting makes the series a top-tier romantic comedy.
