Kim Wexler's past became a thing of interest after she started becoming such a complex character. In one of the episodes, it was revealed that Kim suffered from a disgruntled childhood, with her mother being an alcoholic.

It's no surprise that Kim loves being independent because she learned about being on her own from very early on in her life. Also, throughout her childhood, she learned it the hard way that people lie a lot. And that's why she absolutely hates surprises.

What's The Worst Thing She Has Done?

While Kim hasn't done anything cruel to anyone, she has pretty much made sure to do the worst things to herself. In her line of work, the struggle is usually the path to success but Kim has made some very weird decisions in the series.

For one, she found herself in an accident by sleeping in her car and she decided to break the rules of law one too many times. For a woman who hates lying, she sure does it a bit too much.

Kim is a very good woman, who'll be ready to help someone in a heartbeat, even though she doesn't owe him/her anything. She has done a lot of unselfish things for her clients but that's not going to be talked about because that's her work.

Kim, as stated before, is a very complex human being, who can't be read by just looking at her face. She has many thoughts going on her mind and one thing that can be said about her is that she is a workaholic.

She absolutely adores being a lawyer and she likes control. Kim is also very serious all the time; so much so that fans have longed for her to produce any kind of humor. She also doesn't take her personal life very seriously.

Why Did She Leave Schweikart & Cokely?

When Kim left HHM to work with Jimmy, she never thought how far she would come. Out of nowhere, she landed a huge client named Mesa Verde and in order to sustain them, she had to Schweikart & Cokely to use their resources.

But after a while, she understood that working for a commercial client is just not her thing. And thus quite unpredictably she decided to leave the firm to become a prosecutor for hire.

Why Does She Hate Howard Hamlin?

Kim Wexler pretty much gave her life to the service of Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill. From the start of her career in law, she decided that she would not only develop in HHM, but she would also go on to make Senior Partner in the near future.

But for some reason, Howard disagreed and he always seemed to hate Kim, although she didn't make any huge mistakes. Both Howard and Chuch were behind Kim losing her will to work for HHM because they always punished her for Jimmy's mistakes.

Was She Okay With Saul Goodman?

In a one-word answer, no; Kim wasn't okay with Jimmy McGill converting his name to Saul Goodman and then taking on criminal law.

There were many reasons for that and to start off, the changing the name bit came completely out of the blue, right after Jimmy played with the emotions of New Mexico's State Bar. Kim really didn't know what to make of it; she was as puzzled as the fans sitting at home. Still, she came to live with it.

Why Did She Marry Jimmy?

So this is a very interesting one. While Kim loved to be around Jimmy, the decision to marry him wasn't out of love, instead, it was to protect herself in case Jimmy, now Saul Goodman finds himself in legal trouble over one of his conning tricks.

By marrying Jimmy, Kim would be able to distance herself from testifying against him. And to be honest, the decision was for the best because Kim wouldn't want to be put in such an awkward position.

Is She In The Drug Game?

Well, after Jimmy had an intense integration into the drug scene, he lied to Lalo Salamanca about a very important detail and once the show's main antagonist realized it, he waltzed into Jimmy and Kim's house.

There, Jimmy was pretty much saved by Kim because she stood up to Lalo and while she was doing that, it felt like she was more natural to the drug game than Jimmy. To answer this question, yes Kim has found herself in the Albuquerque drug scene.

Does She Break Bad?

This is pretty much the most important question one would want to ask about any Breaking Bad Universe character. While the first four seasons constantly flirt with the idea of Kim breaking bad, the fifth season pretty much confirms it.

Not only did Kim become okay with Jimmy being involved in the drug business, but her decision to leave Schweikart & Cokely came after she understood the amount of money Jimmy is making. The season five finale also served as a reminding note when Kim suggested destroying Howard's career just to get her hands on the Sandpiper money.
