A surprise secret cameo from the guys from Power Girl hilariously rejecting one of their attempts to hit on her. In Power Girl #4 from DC Comics, the titular hero decides to see a movie. However, she's approached by a group of guys who are spitting images of the main group of nerds from the popular television series. When Howard Wolowitz makes his move on the hero, she swiftly rejects him for not being respectful.

For better or worse, the now-ended sitcom, The Big Bang Theory, is heavily connected to nerd culture. The show starred four nerds, Leonard, Howard, Sheldon, and Raj, and their beautiful neighbor, Penny, as they would get into hijinks that emphasized nerd culture. The Chuck Lorre-created show featured the gang regularly going to the comic book store, wearing DC Comics merch, numerous background items from comics, and cameos from legends such as Adam West. However, a DC Comics story once featured a secret cameo from the gang, where Power Girl let Howard know where she stands on his creepy pick-up game.

In Power Girl #4 by Jimmy Palmiotti, Justin Gray, Amanda Conner, Guillem March, and John J. Hill from DC Comics, Power Girl and Terra attempt to see a movie when they're bothered by a man who tries to hit on the hero. It turns out to be a man who looks exactly like Howard from the Big Bang Theory, as the overly-confident nerd asks Power Girl if she needs a date, referring to her as "baby girl," which gets on the nerve of the Kryptonian. Power Girl grabs his face and offers him the free advice to be respectful and polite to women while telling him to "be quiet for the rest of the show."

The secret DC Comics cameo also features the likes of Sheldon (in his Green Lantern t-shirt), Leonard (in a Flash shirt), and Raj, staring in horror as Howard Makes his move. In The Big Bang Theory, Howard was used to being rejected, but even for him, Power Girl's takedown is particularly effective. She towers over him while telling him to buzz off - as he gets the message.

While the characters in the movie theater with Power Girl were never named, it was pretty apparent that the comic was parodying the characters of The Big Bang Theory, as their likeness and Howard's overeagerness fit them to a tee. Thankfully, by the end of the series, Howard became less of a creep, found love, and settled down with Bernadette. Still, The Big Bang Theory star's rejection (or at least the man who acted and sounded like Howard) from Power Girl in the DC Universe was very much well-deserved in this case.
