Big Brother 24 is already shaping up to be one of the best seasons in a while with players like Turner making big moves, twists like the Festie Besties shaking things up, and several unexpected competition beasts giving the typical physical threats a run for their money.

As with every season, it only takes a few episodes for fan favorites to begin to emerge. And while the game is always a constantly moving target with alliances being formed, broken, and put to the test, with some players falling out of favor and others rising, the cast thus far stands pretty firmly with viewers in of which they like the best and which they can’t wait to see go home. And the results might be surprising.

Joseph “Pooch” Pucciarelli

Pooch Pucciarelli Big Brother 2

While “Pooch” got along well with some of the guys, namely Turner, and had a decent relationship with many of the girls, he came across sometimes as inappropriate in the things he said. In one scene, he even turned to look at the camera and apologize to his mother who was watching for the sexually charged things he was saying.

He was on the house’s radar to evict, and when he made one of the biggest blunders in Big Brother history – offering himself up as a pawn thinking he was guaranteed safety – it solidified their feelings about him: he was a threat and dispensable. He was likable but compared to the others, he’s the most likely to have gotten on peoples’ nerves had he stuck around longer.

Taylor Hale

Taylor Hale from Big Brother 24

Taylor was the first houseguest who stood out as being unlikable. The women who had allied did not appreciate how she was cozying up to the guys. The guys, meanwhile, seemed to have no problem having her around.

Taylor is the most redeemed cast member, however, recognizing how she made people feel, revealing her insecurities and feelings having experienced colorism by people close to her (and even of the same race), and remaining strong and resilient. It’s unlikely she’s aiming to be ranked among the best villains fans loved to hate on Big Brother. She is working to make new connections in the house to help keep herself in the game. Even so, the sour taste she left with some still lingers. She comes across as arrogant and self-absorbed at times, though it’s clear she also has a good heart and often doesn’t do things intentionally.

Indy Santos

Indy Santos from big brother 24

While fans initially liked Indy and her positive aura, she lost some likability points because of the way she acted when she was named an HoH for the week. Cold showers, uncomfortable sleeping quarters, and only being able to eat slop are nothing to laugh at, so she had every right to take a moment to be with her feelings.

Beyond that moment, however, she hasn’t stood out for anything and appears to get along well with everyone in the house, especially the ladies. She’s a big proponent of “girl power” which is why many fans love her.

Paloma Aguilar

Big Brother Paloma Aguilar

Paloma may have ranked higher on the list, but in fairness, since she self-evicted, becoming one of the few Big Brother contestants who quit the show, she sits near the bottom. It is irable, however, that she realized being in the house was negatively impacting her mental health and made the wise decision to remove herself from the situation.

Thus, the only reason Paloma ranks at the bottom is that fans did not get to know her as well as they have the other players, both personally and strategically. That said, the fact that Paloma’s remaining friends in the house developed a secret alliance called Po’s Pack to honor her says a lot about the positive impression she made.

Joseph Abdin

Joseph Abdin from big brother 24

Joseph Abdin and Pooch’s chance to rank among the most iconic bromances from Big Brother was cut short when Pooch was sent home. But this might work to his advantage since on his own, Joseph hasn’t ruffled any feathers nor said anything unbecoming. Fans seem to enjoy the last-minute cast addition.

He’s friendly and personable, and while he has stuck mostly with the guys, his potential to be more of a physical threat should he get chosen for competitions has fans excited to see what he can do. Joseph’s shining moment was when he consoled Taylor after she was being bullied, saying: “just because you’re strong is no grounds for us to test how strong you are.”

Brittany Hope

Brittany Hoopes from big brother 24

Brittany’s quirky and fun personality is endearing to fans as well as her determination to survive the game, at any cost. But as a player, she isn’t the strongest. While she believes she has a good alliance with Michael, she had no idea when he chose her as his Festie Bestie that he is more closely aligned with a larger group and would not hesitate to betray her if it would help his game.

Fans love how ionately she played in the Veto competition alongside Michael, hilariously calling herself a “She-Hulk” and saying she was envisioning her husband at the end of the course. It made her relatable to many viewers who don’t necessarily feel they’re part of the “popular club.”

Jasmine Davis

Jasmine Davis Big Brother 24

Jasmine’s Southern charm oozes through all her diary room sessions where she tends to be more animated than she is when she’s just talking one-on-one with someone in the house or quietly with her alliance. She’s quirky, humorous, and has an upbeat personality that others in the house find infectious.

But what makes her particularly likable is her willingness to be vulnerable as well, such as when she had an emotional conversation with Alyssa about her father’s death. She’s the personification of a sweet Southern belle. The fact that she twisted her ankle then fainted and bowed out of competition and it wasn’t held against her is proof of how likable she is.

Terrance Higgins

Terrance Higgins from season 24 of big brother

The bus drive by day, DJ by night, has managed to win over most of the house with his charms. As one of the oldest houseguests on Big Brother, this is a rare occurrence since the oldest person in the house is usually the first to go home, or at least often used as an easy pawn. But in discussions, players have not only failed to label Terrance an obvious pawn, but they have also actively said they do not want to put Terrance up for that reason.

That’s a testament to his likeability. He’s able to jive well with all the other houseguests, despite the age difference. He lays low but he also isn’t afraid to talk game. One example is when he called out Indy to others for her attitude and the way she thinks she is “running the house.”

Monte Taylor

Monte Taylor Big Brother 24

Monte is strategic in his gameplay and seems to have the ear of many players, which proves that he also comes across as trustworthy. He makes his opinions known quietly to different groups and has earned the respect of players like Paloma when he told her the truth about what Taylor was saying about her.

He seems like the type of guy who doesn’t want any drama and would rather lay low and show what he can do when it’s most important, towards the end of the game. Because of this strategy, Monte is on everyone’s good side because they value both his opinion and his honesty.

Alyssa Snider

Alyssa Snider Big Brother 24

Alyssa is one of the most surprisingly cast , the young beauty who fans might have initially expected to be snobby and arrogant. But she’s anything but. She is sweet, kind, and thoughtful, always with a positive attitude. She is true to her female alliance and tries to keep the peace when there’s conflict.

Fans love the budding flirtation with Kyle which is more adorable than cringeworthy, like some of the other showmances on Big Brother. Her innocence and sweetness have fans adoring Alyssa.
