Big Brother 24 wrapped up at the end of September, and it was a fun-filled season with a lot of good gameplay. Taylor was crowned the champion after a long, grueling season. It was one that was special in a few ways, but its cast really made it stand out among other recent seasons.
The cast of Big Brother 24 was easy to root for given that it had so many likable houseguests. In of likability, a player needs to be both entertaining to watch and skilled at the game itself. Big Brother 24 had a stellar cast, but certain houseguests stood out from the rest in of likability.
Kyle Carpener
Kyle came in eighth place and was the fourth member of the jury. He would be higher on the list, but, unfortunately, Kyle made insensitive comments on the show towards the houseguests of color.
Kyle started the season as a fan favorite. He was extremely likable and funny, as well as a worthy game player. However, some comments comparing season 23's cookout alliance to this season's houseguests put him in extremely hot water. He understood his mistake and he wanted to learn more, which is respectable and still earns him a spot on this list.
Indy Santos
Indy was the first member of the jury as she came in 11th place. Indy did not do much game-wise, but she was a pleasure to watch.
Indy did not seem to know what was going on inside the house, but that did not stop her from being a breath of fresh air. The viewer could tell that Indy is a beautiful soul that was, perhaps, too genuine for the game of Big Brother. She was entertaining, even if her gameplay lacked, and she made the most of her time on screen.
Jasmine Davis
Jasmine was evicted in Big Brochella as she became the second member of the jury. She fascinated the audience all season with her sweet, southern charm.
Jasmine is a unique person, and she was able to broadcast her distinct personality on the show. One of the funniest side plots of the season was her love-hate relationship with Turner. There really was no reason to dislike Jasmine, as even an injured ankle could not slow down her game. Jasmine is definitely a candidate to be brought back from Big Brother 24.
Terrance Higgins
Terrance was almost able to squeak by some mid-season turmoil, but he ultimately was voted off in seventh place. Terrance was a friendly guy that made his mark on the house.
Terrance flew under the radar for the first few weeks and did not get much screen time. However, about midway through the season, he started to earn more of the spotlight with his performance at Dyre Fest. DJ Showtime always seemed to crack a joke at the end of his diary room sessions, which earned him a spot on this list.
Michael Bruner
Michael made history as he tied Janelle's record of competition wins in a Big Brother season. He was the front-runner for most of the season, but he ultimately came in 6th.
From the beginning of the season, Michael held a high-profile position in the house, which brought him a lot of screen time. It was apparent that Michael knew what he was doing and wanted to play the game, which fans loved. One thing that brought Michael's likability stock down is how he and Brittany handled Kyle's insensitive comments.
Alyssa Snider
Alyssa came in 5th place and was one vote short of going to the final four. Even though she did not do too much in the game, she was an extremely positive and bright spirit to have in the house.
Showmances are a common occurrence in the Big Brother House, and Alyssa did not shy away from one. Her Kyle's relationship was a fun subplot of the summer. Once Kyle left it was cool to see her navigate the game by herself. She seems like a sweet girl, who the viewer could possibly see again in a future season.
Monte Taylor
Monte proved himself to be a quality Big Brother player as he was the season's runner-up. Monte presented himself as an all-around nice guy.
Monte never seemed to step out of the season's spotlight. He was always involved in whatever was going on that week, so the viewer saw a lot of him. He was funny, charming, and a good player, which made him a fan favorite. Although Monte did make one of the worst moves of Big Brother 24, he will be someone fans will about this season.
Matt Turner
Turner was so close to the final two, but he came just short as he placed third. Turner quickly became one of the most well-liked contestants this season.
It is fair to say Big Brother has never seen a houseguest quite like Turner before. He was a witty, fun-filled young man with his own vernacular that always wanted to make the best TV. All of this plus he was an excellent player who was not afraid to make the big move, which fans love.
Taylor Hale
Taylor made history as she is the first woman of color to win Big Brother. She had such an iconic season and was adorned by the public since the premiere.
Taylor had a tough first few weeks in the house, but America had her back. She was the victim of a bullying regime in the house, which prompted the Leftovers to form. Taylor never seemed to lash out at anyone, even though she was the victim of several tantrums. She was confident and smart in her moves, which proved worthy enough to give her the win.
Joseph Abdin
The most likable houseguest from Big Brother 24 was Joseph. Joseph was a victim of the split house twist as he came in ninth as Dyre Fest robbed the viewer of a possible special endgame for Joseph.
Joseph presented himself as very genuine and charismatic. In the diary room, he was extremely coherent and articulated himself very well, which can be attributed to his time as a lawyer. Everyone seemed to be rooting for Joseph throughout the summer. Even though he came up short, America would love to see him back inside the Big Brother House
