Season 15

Andy Herren won Big Brother season 15, but his win is rarely talked about. His season was shrouded in controversy due to the racist and homophobic sentiments expressed by various cast . The show is a social experiment, but the season 15 cast wasn't showing the best of society.

Andy's recap of his gameplay made for one of the greatest finale night speeches in the history of the game, not far behind Taylor Hale's iconic speech in Big Brother season 24. Andy masterfully summed up his gameplay and explained why he may have seemed like a floater, but he was actually a manipulative mastermind. He was never on anyone's radar as a target and made a late-game final four alliance that managed to eliminate one of the strongest players of the season, Amanda Zuckerman.

While Andy was never the loudest voice in the house, he was always in the strongest alliances, even as those changed throughout the season. He also made personal, genuine connections with almost everyone in the house. It would be interesting to see Andy return for another season and find out how he plays the game with a different cast.

7 Da'Vonne Rogers

Seasons 17, 18, and 22

Da'Vonne Rogers has already competed in her fair share of Big Brother seasons, but she's such a great personality that she should return to the show once again. Da'Vonne had a rocky start to her Big Brother journey, only making it two weeks on season 17. However, she returned for season 18 with much better luck. On The Challenge All Stars: Rivals, Da'Vonne made it to the final. A Big Brother season with Da'Vonne ensures fans will get even more of her laugh-out-loud funny commentary.

6 America Lopez

Season 25

Even though the Big Brother season 25 competitions were unfair to the female houseguests, as 82% of the competition wins went to men. In the meantime, America is rumored to be participating in The Challenge season 41, so fans will get to see her physical ability there.

5 Vanessa Rousso

Season 17

Vanessa from Big Brother sitting down with a toque, smiling and looking at someone to the left.

Vanessa Rousso is one of the greatest Big Brother players to never win the game. She was a polarizing figure on season 17 due to her emotional nature and manipulation tactics. However, she was undeniably a competition beast with a unique ability to flip the house to go her way.

Now that everyone knows Vanessa dominates in competitions and is very persuasive, it would be interesting to see her play with a new cast. How would she change her strategy? Would she still dominate the game, or would she be an early target?

10 Most Popular Big Brother Contestants, Ranked By Instagram

Only one contestant takes the cash prize on Big Brother. But when it comes to the social media game, some former housemates are the clear winners.

While being a dentist may not normally be an advantage in the Big Brother house, season 17 had a big twist: two of the houseguests were actually twins who spent the first few weeks of the game switching back and forth, pretending to be one person. Johnny Mac was able to identify that Liz Nolan and Julia Nolan were two different people because of their teeth. On top of that, Johnny Mac was in the running to win America's Favorite Player due to his goofy personality. He should return for another season and put his skills to the test.

3 Zach Rance

Season 16

Zach Rance wasn't the nicest player in Big Brother history, but he had a big personality that made for an interesting season. Zach was in a close alliance with Frankie Grande, a man he didn't know was related to pop star Ariana Grande for most of the season. He also was a runner-up for America's Favorite Player, although he lost to Donny Thompson.

Zack seems to have matured a lot since his original run on Big Brother. On the Rise Above podcast, Zack detailed the mistakes he made financially and socially when he finally reentered the real world after filming the CBS social experiment. His ability to own his past transgressions shows he's a different person now. That's why it would be interesting to see the new Zack play Big Brother.

2 Derrick Levasseur

Season 16

Love him or hate him, Derrick Levasseur is one of the greatest Big Brother players of all time. He was never a target or even nominated until the final three, when Cody Calafiore won the final HOH and had no choice but to nominate Derrick next to Victoria Rafaeli. Derrick had a unique ability to make people trust him and convince them to make the moves he wanted.

Since his time on Big Brother, Derrick has continued to appear in unscripted TV shows.

He hosted a show on Investigation Discovery called Breaking Homicide, and most recently, he competed on The Traitors season 3. Derrick showed off his impressive detective skills and was deemed such a threat that the Traitors had to remove him from the game. Derrick could be as impressive on a second Big Brother season.

1 Danielle Reyes

Season 3

Danielle Reyes competed on Big Brother over 20 years ago, but her game is still talked about. She made it all the way to the final two, having a hand in almost every eviction of the season. When Danielle lost to Lisa Donahue because of a bitter jury, Big Brother changed the format of the game for future seasons, requiring jury to live in a sequestered house. They were unable to watch the season before voting for a winner.

While Danielle was beloved by Big Brother fans for many years, her recent appearance on The Traitors season 3 changed a lot of people's perspective on her. Danielle's gameplay was confusing, like when she tried to get fellow traitor Carolyn Wiger eliminated despite being on the same team. It would be very interesting for Danielle to return for another season to see if the CBS format is really where she shines.

Big Brother is available to stream on Paramount+.
