One thing we know for sure is that Hollywood couples come and go with time. Many times, individuals will start a relationship after they have been working on a project together, and that is exactly what happened with built a close friendship with Holly. But as the 40-episode show continued on from June 2019 through September 2019, this close friendship eventually turned romantic.
Jackson, who is 25 and originally a server from Nashville, was part of the same team alliance as Holly since the beginning of the game. Holly, who is originally from Wyoming and 32 years old, lost the final seat to her romantic beau. The alliance proved successful even though Jackson was the $500,000 winner. Jackson faced several allegations making racially insensitive comments, as well as just acting inappropriately, during his time on the show. Even Jackson its to being "an intense person" and can come off as "aggressive," but he stayed true to his word that he never meant to be derogatory towards any group.
According to uarantined together because of COVID-19. They rarely left the house because Holly is considered at "high risk" to contract the virus because of her asthma. To make quarantined time to go by more quickly, the couple adopted a dog together named Sahara and focused a lot of their quarantined time on dog training.
In early April, rumors of a potential breakup were sparked when Holly went back home to Wyoming alone, and Jackson visited his parents in Nashville without her. A few weeks later on June 13, Jackson was celebrating his 25th birthday without his girlfriend. Jackson instead had a boy's night out with Big Brother alum Brett Robinson. He apparently celebrated in style at the Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas. At that point, continued rumors of a pending break-up swirled, and even more so when Holly didn't wish her beau a public happy birthday on any of the social media platforms. Then, as suddenly as they moved in together, the couple announced their break-up publicly on Instagram. On June 18, Holly made the break-up official as she clearly stated on Instagram, "A year ago I started a wild new adventure. Today, I start another adventure. Growth is sometimes hard, but necessary. Growth sometimes happens alone. And that’s what I’ll be doing."
Many fans commented on the post stating things like,"He treated you like dog poo..." and "Good for you! You are worth so much more!" We can't help but be excited for Holly's new adventure in life. And as far as Jackson is concerned, he's ready for this new chapter in his life. He says, "Life has continued to work in ways neither of (us) expected, and sadly life will be taking us in different directions." Jackson always posed a little bit as a bad boy on the show, and maybe even came off as a little arrogant.
Given their age difference, it's understandable that the couple had different priorities in life right now. Holly is in her early thirties, so we suspect she's ready to settle down and potentially have kids. Jackson is in his mid-twenties and likely still sowing his wild oats. It will be interesting to see if this couple stays true to their previous comments of having an unbreakable bond and will maintain a friendship post breakup. However, it may not be possible at this time, while tensions from the breakup may still run high. Plus, Holly was recently seen out-on-the-town with Bachelor Nation's Blake Horstmann just a week after the couple's breakup went public. We're not sure if there was anything romantic going on with the two, but the fact that she was out alone with another poised suiter is enough to rub salt in Jackson's wounds. In fact, Jackson deleted all evidence of his ex from his Instagram . But we're sure they're going to remain "Best Friends."
These two may have moved a little too quickly into their relationship status. Life then added the mounting pressures of being quarantined together so early on in their relationship. Even couples that have stood the test of time are finding quarantine together to be stressful. Again, Hollywood couples come and go, and this couple proves to be no different. They're yet another pairing to add to the overflowing relationship graveyard of the beautiful and famous ones.
Jackson and Holly will likely do just fine living their lives separated, but it certainly is suspicious that Jackson's original strategy was to get Holly on his side. Why would he do that? Maybe because it would have been easier for him to win the Big Brother cash prize. Perhaps this relationship was doomed from the start. We'll continue watching the new season looking out for new romances and alliances as Big Brother 22 is currently premiering on CBS three times a week.
