Warning! Spoilers for the Thursday, August 27 episode of Big Brother below!
It only took one conversation with Da'Vonne Rogers and Bayleigh Dayton for David Alexander to lose their trust and blow up Tyler Crispen's game on Big Brother 22: All-Stars. David was the first houseguest to be evicted from BB21... which was only the first of many controversial decisions that the dominant Gr8ful alliance made during that year. After having an entire season that was tainted by problematic behaviors, the Big Brother production team decided to give David a second shot at the $500,000 grand prize. After all, he showed a lot of promise as a player despite not lasting very long in the BB house.
In 2020, David was announced as one of the contestants who would compete on Big Brother: All-Stars. Initially, the fans were very happy about this decision and praised producers for having the foresight to do this. But over the course of three weeks, a lot of people are starting to change their minds. Last week, David was on the nomination block and most fans were rooting for him to stay. However, after surviving that first nomination, David is making a lot of questionable moves that are hurting not only his game in the house but also the game of his closest allies.
On Tuesday, August 25, Bayleigh arranged a very necessary Slick Six alliance member Tyler, who was apparently trying to turn David against them. Then, David decided to talk to Tyler about this mishap.
David went straight to the HOH room and told Tyler right away that he had overshared information with Da'Vonne and Bayleigh. Tyler was visibly annoyed, disappointed, and irritated. Tyler pointed out that he would now become a target for Da'Vonne and Bayleigh. And as this week's reigning Head of Household on All-Stars, he won't even get to play in the next HOH competition. David apologized profusely, but Tyler is now convinced that his game was blown up and that the Slick Six alliance has imploded. Over the course of the night, Tyler spoke to the cameras a few times and even told his girlfriend Angela Rummans that he might be coming home very soon.
It's very unfortunate that David is making so many wrong moves inside the Big Brother house. However, it is important to note that his lack of experience in the game is now hurting not only his game, but other people's strategies as well.
Big Brother 22: All-Stars airs Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 8pm EST on CBS.
