Big Brother showmances are a thing of wonder. At the same time, they can be fruitful and disastrous. They can help a player’s game, or completely annihilate it. They can be adorable, or they can be nauseating. No matter what, though, they always bring in the drama. One of the most infamous showmances in the history of the show was Dr. Will Kirby and Shannon Dragoo on Big Brother 2.
This BB2 couple initially connected when Will convinced Shannon that he had a very rare form of cancer. Despite starting out this relationship with a huge lie, they eventually became inseparable. Together, these two were generally pretty narcissistic, and it's safe to say that they got under people's skins. In a particularly cruel move, Shannon fat-shamed fellow houseguest Autumn Daly by leaving a bag of potato chips on her bed. During a different instance, Shannon notoriously scrubbed the toilet with Hardy Ames-Hill’s toothbrush after Hardy put her up on the block. In the end, Shannon got in trouble with the producers and wound up telling Hardy she “accidentally broke” his toothbrush.
After BB2, Dr. Will went on to become a legendary Big Brother winner that is hailed by the fans for years. Shannon and Will dated for some time after the show. However, they eventually ended the relationship. Ever since, the fans have not heard much from her. However, some information was provided by her mother, Cynthia Dragoo, during a particular interview with MYSA. Cynthia revealed that Shannon is now a paramedic who resides in Florida. She is married with two children and “still maintains the impressive bikini body of her Big Brother days.” Shannon’s mother said that Shannon let go of the other aspects of her BB2 experience and has put it all behind her.
In turn, Will has returned to modern seasons of Big Brother a few times in various forms. For instance, he's been known to hosting the jury roundtables at the end of each new season. On BB22, Will appeared in the Neighbor’s House twist that culminated in the show's first Triple Eviction in history. When it comes to his personal life, Will married For Love or Money star Erin Brody, with whom he has two children.
Even though Shannon’s all but disappeared from the limelight, the fans still her name on occasion. Though her time on Big Brother was brief, it’ll be pretty difficult for the fans to forget Dr. Will’s first-ever showmance.
