Big Brother 24 wrapped up at the end of September, and Taylor was crowned the winner, ing a long list of great Big Brother players who earned their wins. Some houseguests, like Taylor, go far by staying loyal and being good competitors. Others manipulate and sneak their way through the game.
Being sneaky is ingrained in Big Brother. Most players need some degree of slyness to make it deep into the game and accomplish their goals. While some are better at this than others, there are a few houseguests who stand above the rest in of sneakiness.
Danielle Reyes - Big Brother 3, Big Brother 7
Danielle is commonly regarded as the best player to never win Big Brother. She was the runner-up in her first season and came in sixth in her second time.
Danielle had a reputation for being a great manipulator. She worked in a legendary two-person alliance with Jason Guy that got her in the finale, but the jurors found her diary room confessionals arrogant, so they did not vote for her. When she returned to Big Brother 7, she reverted to her manipulative ways, but she did not make it as far as her reputation proceeded her. Unfortunately, she got outplayed by Will and was evicted.
Jun Song - Big Brother 4
Jun was the winner of Big Brother 4, and she perfected the floater strategy. This strategy has negative connotations in the modern era, but Jun was the one who first implemented it.
There is no sneakier strategy than floating throughout the whole game. She did not have a lot of power throughout the season, as she only won one HOH and veto. However, she was in everyone's ears as she influenced many evictions over the course of the summer. She was very shrewd in her thinking, so she would never seem like the obvious target. Many people try to emulate her game style today, but they all fail.
Maggie Ausburn - Big Brother 6
Maggie was the winner of Big Brother 6. Even though she was the leader of her alliance, she played in a manner that let her hide in plain sight.
Big Brother 6 had one of the best pre-jury phases in the show's history. This was because the house was split down the middle. Maggie was careful to never appear like the leader of her alliance since she wanted to keep her threat level down. She managed to keep decent relationships, so when the other side of the house won, Maggie was never their original target. This proved to be vital for Maggie's game and ability to win.
Eric Stein - Big Brother 8
Eric came in fifth place on Big Brother 8. He is a unique houseguest as he was the first-ever "America's Player."
As America's Player, Eric had to complete certain tasks throughout the summer, and he had to keep these secret from the other houseguests, requiring a high degree of stealth. For example, he had to put mustard all over someone's shirt without being caught. He also had to advocate for certain players to be evicted without gaining suspicion that he was actually playing on America's behalf. He did not complete all of his task successfully, but no one outed him for being America's Player.
Dan Gheesling - Big Brother 10, Big Brother 14
Dan is widely considered one of the best players of all time. He won Big Brother 10 and was the runner-up in Big Brother 14.
Dan's gameplay is one reason why Big Brother 10 is arguably the best season in the show's history. Dan was so cunning and extremely precise in his moves. He laid low and acted weak in the beginning, but turned it on in the end. Big Brother 14 was just as impressive of a run. At one time, he worked with almost everyone in the house, so no one would target him. He is credited for the common Big Brother saying of "misting" someone.
Matt Hoffman - Big Brother 12
Matt was in one of the strongest Big Brother alliances of all time, the Brigade. However, because he was so sneaky, the alliance turned on him, and he came in seventh.
Matt was considered the brains of the Brigade and for good reason. He seemed to go outside the alliance and make strong connections with other houseguests, which the other alliance did not like. The final nail in the coffin was when Matt did not tell the other guys about his diamond power of veto. Matt sneaked around everyone's social circle in the house, which earned him a spot on the jury.
Ian Terry - Big Brother 14, Big Brother 22
Ian was the winner of Big Brother 14 and returned to the second installment of all-stars, Big Brother 22. He started the show as an innocent kid, but he was actually a mastermind.
In Big Brother 14, Ian orchestrated Mike Boogie's eviction, which resulted in one of the best goodbye messages of all time. Ian secretly worked with one side of the house and gave them all the information on Boogie and Frank. Dan recognized he was a sneaky threat and tried to evict him for weeks, however, he was unable to, and Ian beat him in the end. Ian's gameplay made Big Brother 14 one of the best ever. Ian tried a different approach in Big Brother 22, but it did not work as he was the first member of the jury.
Andy Herren - Big Brother 15
Andy was the winner of Big Brother 15 and is known as one of the sneakiest players ever. He was committed to an alliance with Amanda and McCrae but turned on them.
The big move that got Andy the win was when he voted out Amanda. However, there was a double eviction right after where McCrae won HOH. So, Andy had to backtrack and pin the vote on Elissa. This is one of the slickest moves in all of Big Brother. It worked as Elissa was voted out and Andy went on to win it all. This move, along with everyone thinking Andy was their best friend, gave him the win.
Paul Abrahamian - Big Brother 18, Big Brother 19
Paul is a historic Big Brother player as they were the runner-up in both seasons they played. Even though they never won, they became one of the most cunning players ever.
In Paul's second time playing, they showed how sneaky they really were. Since the house naturally split up into a bunch of pairs, Paul latched on to all of them as a third wheel. They created a final three deal with all of them. Paul convinced everyone that he was on their side, so they were protected everywhere. In most seasons this would have gotten them the win, but the jury was slightly bitter, so they lost.
Brittany Hoopes - Big Brother 24
Brittany played on the most recent season of the show, Big Brother 24. She came in fourth place and barely missed finale night.
Brittany's sneaky streak started very early. She told Pooch about Ameerah's goal to get the guys out, which did not get her a good reputation as word got around that she revealed the girl's plan. She was also sneaky towards the end of the game when she tried to get Turner to evict Taylor. Brittany voted to evict Taylor while Turner did not which exposed her in the final stages of the game.
