Negative comments directed at Big Brother 22: All-Stars contestants Tyler Crispen and Daniele Donato Briones have prompted their significant others to retire their Twitter s. Social media was still at its earliest stages when Daniele competed on BB8 and BB13. During season 8, Daniele had to deal with the twist that her estranged father was also part of the cast. But things turned around on season 13, where she met her husband Dominic Briones. Nonetheless, Dani didn't have to deal with such a major wave of BB fans on either of those seasons.
Tyler, on the other hand, competed many years after Dani on Big Brother 20. During that season, he met his girlfriend Angela Rummans, and the fans were quick to embrace the Tangela moniker for the couple. Both Tyler and Angela made it very far that season through their Level Six alliance. But in the end, Tyler lost the $500,000 grand prize to Kaycee Clark. In any case, the fans ultimately voted for him to become America's Favorite Houseguest. In 2020, both Daniele and Tyler were cast on the show's second-ever All-Stars season.
Daniele Donato and Tyler Crispen are well-positioned on Big Brother: All-Stars. However, certain Big Brother fans have questioned some of their decisions in the game so far. These fans have criticized Dani for aligning herself with new-school players. As the season's third HOH, Tyler has also received some criticism for targeting Janelle Pierzina and Kaysar Ridha. In the real world, it is presumed that Tyler's girlfriend Angela and Daniele's husband Dominic have been running their respective social media profiles. On Friday, August 21, Tyler's social media manager announced on his behalf that his future BB22 messages would be posted directly on Instagram instead of Twitter. The following day, Dani's social media manager shared a very similar message on Twitter. As of now, both Tyler and Dani have essentially quit Twitter.
Production has allowed the All-Stars to share occasional tweets directly from inside the Big Brother 22 house. However, it certainly seems like Tyler's and Daniele's significant others have chosen to redirect those statements straight to Instagram. All in all, Twitter hasn't been always kind to Tyler's and Daniele's game decisions. Consequently, it seems like Angela and Dominic have decided that it is not worth insisting on this social media platform while their partners are on this season.
The show must go on on Big Brother: All-Stars, but there are also important decisions with multiple ramifications that are being made outside of the house. Nonetheless, the All-Stars won't have to deal with any of these tweets while they're still playing the game... which is probably good news for their strategies to win the grand prize at the end.
Big Brother 22: All-Stars airs Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 8pm EST on CBS.
