For the first time in his life, Bizarro has become more than just a nuisance to the Man of Steel when he gains a new power that is literally going to turn Clark's world upside down.

In Action Comics #1061 by Jason Aaron and John Timms, the Sorcerer's World, the nexus point for all things magic, is invaded by Bizarro, who's frustrated at the disappearance of Bizarro World. The Sorcerer's World's finest spellcasters combine their magic, but it has the unintended consequence of giving Bizarro magic powers.

Six weeks later, Superman tries to confront Bizarro, but the doppelganger uses his enhanced strength to effortlessly smack Clark across the universe. Superman notes Bizarro's increase in power and realizes Bizarro is magic now and is even capable of creating powerful spells. Superman defends his home, but for all Superman's might, he can't stop Bizarro and his mighty arcane powers.

Superman's Backward Enemy Bizarro is a Magical Threat

Superman is notably the strongest hero in the DC Universe. The hero has immeasurable levels of strength and has performed feats that could make him be seen as a literal god. However, despite his immense power, Clark has weaknesses that bring him down to the level of an average human. In addition to kryptonite and red solar radiation, magic is one of the best things to use against Superman. All his strength and power mean nothing when going up against spells or otherworldly energies. While Clark has beaten magical enemies before, they tend to be a bit trickier for him to handle.

Superman shows vulnerabilities to magic, so it seems only right that his diametric opposite Bizarro gains a huge boost in power when exposed to the arcane. Even Superman its that Bizarro is stronger than ever after the villain knocks Clark millions of miles into space, causing him to crash on Venus. But beyond just a mere boost in power, Bizarro is seen performing rituals and even transforming others into Bizarros like himself. Bizarro was already a thorn in Clark's side before. But if this magical upgrade is permanent, Bizarro may have just become a truly unstoppable force.

Bizarro is Now Superman's Deadliest Opposite

Bizarro used to fight Superman with the opposite of Clark's powers like cold vision instead of heat vision. But now Bizarro is overflowing with magic energy and crafting spells that only the most skilled magicians could perform. Clark never had to worry too much about Bizarro before, but his opposite's determination to create a new Bizarro World has given him an upgrade that's imperiling Earth. To matters worse, Clark may be unable to stop his nemesis. If he struggled against Bizarro who just became magic, what's going to happen when Bizarro becomes more skilled at creating spells? With Superman's vulnerability, he's gonna have to think outside the box if he wants to stop the new and improved Bizarro.
