the game's secret ending is one of the trickiest. Once you unlock the ending, you'll have to face Erlang twice in two different forms, so it's best to be prepared for each fight before going in. On top of these two fights, one more fight against four, simultaneous bosses will stand in your way of beating the secret ending.
Erlang Shen is a god associated with Daoism, and is associated with water and the subduing of demons. In Journey to the West, he was responsible for punishing Sun Wukong for the chaos he brought to the heavens in his quest. He takes on a similar role in Black Myth: Wukong, stepping in to prevent the Destined One from escaping his fate as the next Monkey King.
How to Beat Erlang, The Sacred Divinity in Black Myth: Wukong
In His First Form, Stagger Him With Clones Instead Of Transforming
Erlang, in his first form as The Sacred Divinity, can be dealt with easier if you focus on staggering him rather than going for a full-on attack. Using the A Pluck of Many spell, pop out a bunch of clones that will help you get continuous hits off on him, which will increase his stagger meter pretty consistently. Once he's staggered, hit him with your strongest attacks before he rights himself.
Something to note is that Erlang has the power to dismiss your transformations, so no matter which one you try, no transformation will be effective against him.
Erlang also uses quite a bit of lightning-based magic in this fight, which will inflict Shock and cause you to take more damage than normal. To cure it, you should stock up on Shock-Quelling Powder or spend some points on
Bane Mitigation. The Powders will outright cure you and add some Shock resistance, while Bane Mitigation helps to resist each of the Four Banes.
As for Erlang's actual attacks, none of them provide enough of a window to attack during the combo itself. Instead, wait until after the combo is over to make your move. Be patient, and use your Cloud Step or
Rock Solid to escape if you get trapped in one of the combos. If you take your time and focus on getting staggers off, you'll take down Erlang, the Sacred Divinity in no time.
Beating the Four Heavenly Kings
You're Facing Four Enemies At Once, So Stay On Your Guard
Once you get Erlang's health to zero, he'll call in backup in the form of the Four Heavenly Kings. These four Kings represent the four cardinal directions, and are called Duōwén Tiānwáng (North King), Chíguó Tiān (East King), Guǎngmù Tiānwáng (West King), and Zēngzhǎng Tiānwáng (South King). Each of the Kings will attack you at once, but thankfully, their attacks are a bit simple. If you still find you're struggling, try swapping out your armor set for something stronger.
Likely in order to not overwhelm the player in this fight, each of the four Kings features a simplified version of movesets that you've already seen in the game. The best strategy is to fight one King at a time, dodging the other's attacks while you whittle one down. Use light attacks to fill your focus meter, then unleash a heavy attack whenever you get the chance.

Black Myth: Wukong's Final Boss Punishes Players In The Cheekiest Way Imaginable
Black Myth: Wukong's final boss fight comes with a unique set of challenges, and one element of the fight is as memorable as it is punishing.
Despite there being four opponents in this fight, the fight against the Four Heavenly Kings isn't too difficult. As long as you are able to stay out of the way of the other Kings, taking down one at a time should see you succeed. There is a short cutscene that plays as you defeat each King until all four have been defeated, and then it's time to face Erlang Shen once again.
Beat Erlang Shen, For Good This Time
Take Advantage Of The Strengths Of The Stone Monkey
Immediately after beating the Four Heavenly Kings, the Destined One will transform into the Stone Monkey, while Erlang transforms into a huge lion. The two of you will fight once again, but this time, you have the power of the Stone Monkey on your side. To see the fight in full, check out MELOO's video on YouTube.
Erlang hits harder and is more aggressive in this form, but your healing abilities, thanks to your heavy attack, should help you sustain his damage. You can also try a better staff if the one you're using doesn't seem to be working. Note that this fight isn't scripted, meaning you can and will die, so you can always switch up your loadout between attempts.
You'll need to watch out for Erlang's flaming sword, but the Stone Monkey's abilities should make this fight relatively satisfying. There's no direct reward for defeating Erlang here, but the end of this fight does mark the completion of Black Myth: Wukong's secret ending.
