Silka Luisa is the showrunner, and will also serve as one of the executive producers. Fellow producers on the show include original Blade Runner director Ridley Scott, Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Ben Roberts, David W. Zucker, Clayton Krueger, Tom Spezialy, Richard Sharkey, Michael Green, Cynthia Yorkin, and Jonathan van Tulleken. The production company for the film will be Film United, which will oversee the production in Prague.

Blade Runner 2099 is an exciting addition to Yeoh’s burgeoning career growth. In 2023, she won an Oscar for Best Actress for the breakout 2022 film Everything Everywhere All At Once. Yeoh’s win was a standout achievement for both the actress and the community she represents, as she became the first person of Asian descent to win the award.
