Warning! Spoilers ahead for Bounty Hunters #4
Boba Fett is one of the best bounty hunters in the before she betrayed several other hunters on a job that went south. It's perhaps for this reason that Fett decides to take the lone wolf route, seeing that the only bounty hunter he can truly trust is himself, even when he gets an offer for a partnership.
In Marvel's Bounty Hunters, written by Ethan Sacks and drawn by Paolo Villanelli, Beilert Valance, and Fett himself. For some unknown reason, Lash killed their client and fled with the target, betraying her crew and leaving them to flee for their lives. Years later, Lash resurfaces and a rather large bounty is put on her head, bringing the attentions of all of those she betrayed.
Boba Fett in particular decides to go after her for revenge, rather than credits, Bossk makes Fett an offer.
It seems as though Fett has no interest in partners or team-ups anymore, most likely due to Lash's betrayal years prior. What's makes his refusal in this issue even more significant is the fact that he and Bossk had been longtime partners back in the day, There's only his reputation and the next job to be completed.
Boba Fett's dedication to his job pretty irable. He's not letting anything get in his way, and he's not about to make the same mistake twice, hence his refusal to work with anyone else, due to Lash's betrayal. As Star Wars: Bounty Hunters #4 ends with Boba face to face with Valance and Lash, fans will have to wait and see if Boba Fett is able to satisfy his desires for revenge all on his own.
