Bone Tomahawk's success is reliant on two aspects of the movie: the plot and the acting. S. Craig Zahler infuses the film with a horror movie tension that audiences don't often see in a Western movie. Furthermore, Zahler never tries to rush his story or cut corners. It is thoughtful, gripping, and impressive. However, none of this would really be possible without the participation of some amazing actors.
