World War Z (2013) - 7.0

world war z

This is definitely a classic Brad Pitt action adventure flick. There's a zombie pandemic, and Gerry Lane (Pitt) must help stop the destruction of armies, governments, and humanity itself. Sure, this is a cliche zombie-apocalyptic-action film, but you know you love it anyway. The visuals are actually pretty stunning, and it's probably one of the better zombie apocalypse films out there. Plus, a 7/10 really isn't bad for this film genre. Plus, Brad Pitt is as badass as ever.

allied

This is probably the most underrated of all the gems on this list. Taking place in the 1940s, a Canadian intelligence officer (Brad Pitt) and a French Resistance fighter (Marion Cotillard) take on a mission. This period film has romance, action, war, and all the drama you could possibly need. Thanks to its exceptional leads, this flick is beautiful for the era, and tells a pretty interesting story that, for once, isn't based in the United States. Who doesn't love a war drama based in England with a Canadian and a Frenchwoman? Plus, Pitt and Cotillard's chemistry is off the charts.

Megamind (2010) - 7.2

Characters from Megamind stand together in front of a yellow background.

Yes, clearly this is not the suave and charming Brad Pitt you might've expected to see on this list. Nonetheless, this animated family classic scored a pretty impressive 7.2/10. The supervillain, Megamind (Will Ferrell) finally defeats the superhero, Metro Man (Brad Pitt). However, Megamind then loses all meaning to life and has to find a new direction. Other voices include Tiny Fey, Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill, and Justin Theroux. Honestly, this is one of our favorite animated flicks of the decade, and clearly deserves a spot on this list.
