On Friday, December 9th, Canada’s Drag Race: Canada Vs. The World served up its "Comedy Queens" episode, and audiences want to know more about recently eliminated contestant, Icesis Couture. Following RuPaul's first global drag showdown, Drag Race UK vs. The World, the all-new edition imported competing queens from the US, the UK, and Down Under (Australia) to take on the defending queens of Canada. On Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. The World, Icesis starred alongside fan favorites Ra’Jah O’Hara, Silky Nutmeg Ganache, UK queen Victoria Scone, and Canadian sisters, Rita Baga and Kendall Gender. In the second episode, "Snatch Summit”, Icesis won the Snatch Game as Donatella Versa, as well as the “lip-sync for your legacy”, thus the choice for elimination fell into her hands. Ultimately, she was pushed to banish her Canadian sister, Stephanie Prince. Unfortunately, Icesis's time was cut short, due to emotional distress and anxiety from the competition. During the global rendition’s comedy challenge, Icesis removed herself from the competition.

Steven Granados-Portelance AKA Icesis Couture resides in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The 35-year-old hails from the drag Haus of Couture, along with real-life drag sister Savannah (or brother Randy). The two are featured on CBC Arts’ “Canada's Drag,” a documentary series that highlights Canada’s diverse drag community. Icesis currently reigns supreme as the champion of Canada's Drag Race season 2.
Icesis During Challenges
During her time in the competition, Icesis won two Maxi Challenges: the Design competition, as well as the “Sinner’s Ball.” Additionally, she fell into the bottom two twice, taking out Océane Aqua-Black in a lip-sync for your life to “Stupid S***” by Girlicious, as well as sister Adriana in a performance of "Everybody Say Love” by Mitsou. After a grueling competition over 10 episodes, Icesis was crowned the winner.
