MCU.

Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel are also confirmed to be getting their own TV shows in a near future, and just like the rest, they will impact the films in the MCU and vice versa – and one of the future films that will have a strong connection with Disney+’s shows is Captain Marvel 2.

Why Marvel’s Disney+ Shows Are Important To Captain Marvel 2

There’s a lot of conversation over the importance of Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris).

Monica Rambeau was introduced in Captain Marvel as the nine year-old daughter of Carol’s friend, Maria (Lashana Lynch). In the comics, Monica Rambeau is the second Captain Marvel and even becomes leader of the Avengers for a time. As Captain Marvel was set in the 1990s and WandaVision will alternate between a 1950s setting and the modern MCU, the series will feature an adult Monica Rambeau. What role she will have in the series is unknown, but judging by some set photos, Rambeau looks to be linked to SWORD (Sentient World of Observation and Response Department), which is the space-based equivalent of SHIELD.

In addition to that, the arrival of Kamala Khan through the Captain Marvel 2 and the other way around, depending on which one comes first. Everything will truly be connected this time.
