Gotham has some of the world's greatest fighters patrolling its streets, and Catwoman just proved she's among the A-list. Selina Kyle is currently helping Batman to fight against Amanda Waller's regime, with the pair going up against her new Suicide Squad 'dream team.' That leads Catwoman into battle with an antihero who can make gods cry.
As Absolute Power continues its grip on the DC Universe, Batman and Catwoman find themselves on the planet of Czarnia in Batman #152, by Chip Zdarsky and Mike Hawthorne, trying to retrieve Amanda Waller's Mother Box in an effort to win back the Earth for the heroes of DC. There, they come across Waller's Squad, including the Superman-level Bizarro and ultimate magic- Black Alice.
Black Alice is a god-tier magic-, able to steal the powers of any magical entity, from sorcerers like John Constantine and Doctor Fate to cosmic beings like the Spectre. However, despite the fact that Black Alice has any number of reality-breaking powers, Catwoman takes her out by using a simple tripwire to break her concentration and strike in a moment of surprise.

After 85 Years, DC Reveals the Moment Batman Realized He Should Quit
Batman never gives up - and yet, when he's stranded in space, alone and facing an alien empire, he's just a boy from Gotham, far out of his depth.
Catwoman Defeats Black Alice Without Breaking a Sweat
Selina Kyle Knows How to Pinpoint Weaknesses
Catwoman has had to improvise a lot of her life in order to survive. She thinks like a thief and is constantly relying on smart tricks to get the upper hand. Especially when the other half of the world is filled with over-powered villains and magic s, she doesn't have a choice. Like Batman, she must either quickly discover a weakness or die trying. While most heroes would look at Black Alice and only see her mind-melting power level, Catwoman sees someone who is only dangerous when they're in control, then quickly and skillfully takes that control away.
Batman and Catwoman have always been a good team, but here they're going up against a group of some of DC's most powerful beings and making it look easy. What's so impressive about Catwoman's tactics is that she wins with basic equipment. While Batman can take down powerhouses like Superman and the Flash, it's because he's sunk millions into developing custom contingency plans against them, utilizing bleeding-edge tech and rare resources like Kryptonite. In contrast, Catwoman takes down a foe who could kill Superman with just a tripwire and fast reactions.
Bat-Family fans have long argued how characters like Batman, Nightwing and Batgirl compare as Gotham's best fighters, but Catwoman's latest achievement shows she's just as deserving of the top spot.
Batman #152 is coming September 4 from DC Comics!
