Pedro Pascal is finally getting his due glory, thanks in part to his roles in major projects like Wonder Woman 1984, The Mandalorian, and, most recently, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. However, despite the actor's involvement with almost every other major Hollywood franchise, Pascal has yet to be given a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While Pedro Pascal has not yet ed the ever-expanding shared universe, some fans have already perfectly mapped out who from Marvel's comic history he could play to perfection. Taking to Reddit, these fans make the case for one of the favorite actors to be matched to a Marvel role perfectly suited to his talents.

Beta Ray Bill

Redditor okinamaru has a role in mind that would not even require Pascal's presence in the studio. Referring to the actor's mostly auditory role in The Mandalorian, they write "He's already proven we don't need his face... he'd absolutely crush the role of Beta Ray Bill."

Beta Ray Bill is a bizarre but beloved character from Marvel Comics who frequently runs in the same circles as Thor himself. The horse-like alien is the original wielder of Stormbreaker, the ax that Thor currently uses in the MCU. Fans have been clamoring to see Beta Ray Bill in live-action for years now, and would certainly be pleased with Pedro Pascal voicing the superhero should he show up in the forthcoming Love and Thunder.

Taskmaster

BIGDOOKY15 thinks that one character in the MCU could use a mulligan in the form of a total reboot. "If/when they eventually bring in a different, more sinister Taskmaster," they write, "I think [Pedro Pascal's] voice and acting would be a great choice [for the character]."

Taskmaster made her debut in where they will see Taskmaster next in the MCU. Lovers of the Taskmaster of the comics were rather disappointed by the MCU's reimagining of the character, with some lobbying that the original Tony Masters role be restored, with a talented actor like Pedro Pascal bringing the antihero to life.

Gambit

One fan favorite X-Men hero is the team's worst.

The soon-coming introduction of the mutants in the MCU have plenty of fans rushing to predict what famous actors will take on iconic roles from the comics. SpikeyTaco reveals their hope that Pedro Pascal will play "an older, slightly more mature Gambit."

Pedro Pascal has a history of playing suave, debonair characters with enough personality to outshine an entire cast of lovable characters, as is often the case with Gambit. The same man who brought Maxwell Lord to life in who could play the MCU's version of Gambit.

The Big Wheel

WTF Spider-Man Villains - Big Wheel

Reddit  danksquirrel offers headscratcher of a casting choice for Pedro Pascal's MCU debut, suggesting that he play the obscure Spider-Man villain Big Wheel. In response, soldofpol13 reasons that, after fighting big purple monsters from space, the Avengers' next big bad should simply be a man in a big mechanized wheel, daring the studio to do so, writing: "Make Big Wheel happen, Marvel."

Created as a comedic and unintimidating villain for Spider-Man to easily dispatch, Jackson Weele, a.k.a. "The Big Wheel," has only made a handful of appearances throughout comic history, yet is somewhat beloved by the fandom due to the absurd nature of his character. As an actor that has proven that he can be both comedic and intimidating, sometimes at the same time, Pedro Pascal could easily pull off this laughable antagonist.

Frenchie

When asked who they would like to see Pedro Pascal play in the MCU, Highground-Occupier jokes "Moon Knight's bestie," calling attention the real-life friendship between Pascal and Moon Knight actor Oscar Isaac. Another Redditor, PeeWeeCasanovaMC, points out that they "could see him playing Frenchie," Marc Spector's best friend from the comics.

Jean-Paul Duchamp, otherwise known as Frenchie, is an integral part of most Moon Knight comics and has already been hinted at existing in the MCU, despite having never been seen. Including Pascal as Moon Knight's "bestie" would be a fun nod to the real world, and would no doubt make for some truly hilarious scenes between the two characters.

White Tiger

Some Redditors believe that it is time for heroes that have remained largely dormant in recent years to make a return. Commenting on a thread discussing of possible roles for Pedro Pascal in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Reddit  HavengulWitch suggests that he play "Hector Alaya/The White Tiger."

The White Tiger is a vigilante superhero that made his debut in early issues of Spider-Man comics, later gaining a superhero career of his own. Though the Ava Alaya version of the character is perhaps better known, the White Tiger is nonetheless an Avenger that certainly deserves to the MCU, perhaps with Pedro Pascal's steady hand at the wheel.

Sebastian Shaw

Sebastian Shaw

With the X-Men likely seeing a full reboot for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Redditor absherlock suggests that one of the prominent villains from the Fox film series be recast with Pedro Pascal at the helm. "Sebastian Shaw, when they reintroduce the X-Men," they write, "[He] has the potential to be a world-level threat."

Many Marvel fans will that Kevin Bacon played the mutant supervillain Sebastian Shaw in Fox's X-Men: First Class. Though the film was relatively well-received, some fans were disappointed with the portral of Shaw and his Hellfire Club. Casting Pedro Pascal as a new version of the character would be a first step in the right direction for Marvel Studios in reviving a classic X-Men villain.

Swordsman

Although their choice has already appeared in the MCU played by a different actor, Reddit  Hawkeye, [Pedro Pascal] would have crushed the role of Swordsman."

Swordsman recently made his MCU debut in the Disney+ series Hawkeye, played by Tony Dalton. The character deviated from his comics counterpart, mostly used as a comedic red herring to the show's true villain. While it is unclear what Marvel's intention is for the character moving forward, Pascal would make an excellent choice for the more heroic version of the comics Avenger, whose facial hair even matches that of the iconic actor.

Norman Osborn

SpikeyTaco wants to see a certain iconic Marvel villian portrayed in a way that general audiences have never seen before. They believe Pedro Pascal should play a version of Norman Osborn that acts as a threat to the world as a whole, much like in the "Dark Reign" storyline from the comics. They write that "Pascal's Osborn would hold a presence that would make Justin Hammer stutter and flinch."

Many recognize Norman Osborn as the Green Goblin, one of Spider-Man's greatest villains of all time. However, the shrewd businessman and nationalistic politician side of the character has never before been portrayed in film. Pascal has the acting chops to pull off such a version of the character who, because of his vastly different characterization, would not have to be compared to Willem Dafoe's beloved portrayal of the villain in previous films.

Corsair

X-Men Corsair

Percival-Postie suggests that Pedro Pascal could be a perfect fit for the comics character of Corsair. Similarly, Redditor Notjustin asserts that this is "perfect casting," reminding fans that Pascal is "[the] right age" and has "a great look" that would serve the character well.

Though not the most popular Marvel character, Corsair is vitally important to the universe as the father of the X-Men Cyclops and Havok. The character could be a perfect way to re-introduce these classic characters to general audiences while also setting himself up as a staple of the franchise moving forward. As the above Redditor point out, Pedro Pascal certainly has the perfect look to pull off this character, and the personality to make him a new favorite among the ever-growing cast of the MCU.
