I’m touched that they think that it’s worth ending the season with it, but I don’t know how it’s going to go. I don’t know what the story is. I’ve always been fascinated to see how they do an episode of Chicago P.D. and have a proper wedding with all of the corn and cheese that that deserves.”

The three-part offering promises to be an intense experience for everyone involved, so it's interesting that despite the harrowing experience, Burgess and Ruzek won't be rushing to get married right after the tragedy. For what it's worth, former Intelligence unit and partners, Hailey Upton and Jay Halstead did something similar in Chicago PD season 9.
