Natural Wonders are a feature in Sid Meier's Civilization 7 that can be discovered on any given map, and they provide unique bonuses that players can capitalize on for a serious boost to civilization growth and development. In total, there are twelve different Wonders (so far), each with their own distinct benefits and boosts that can be strategically utilized, possibly even shaping or shifting a player's plans dramatically.
The twelve Natural Wonders will generate randomly on a given map, and depending on map size and type, might feature only a handful or might include all twelve. To gain the benefits of any Natural Wonder, players will need to develop the tiles on which they appear, which can be done by placing a Population during a Growth Event on the hex containing the Wonder. Here's a look at all twelve Natural Wonders and their bonuses in Civilization 7.
12 The Grand Canyon
Culture, Happiness, & Science
One of the larger Natural Wonders in Civilization 7, the Grand Canyon is a four-tile Wonder that provides excellent Happiness, Science, and Culture bonuses based on Age and Settlement. If you manage to settle near the Grand Canyon's edge, placing a Population on one of its tiles during a Growth Event will provide +2 Happiness and +2 Culture per Age.

Sid Meier's Civilization 7 evolves the defining 4x series with both elegant additions and imperfect changes, but the end results are still glorious.
Additionally, Flat Terrain tiles in the Settlement containing the Grand Canyon will also receive +2 Science yields. Each of the Grand Canyon tiles provides excellent base yields as well, so you'll want to set up Expedition Bases on all Grand Canyon tiles as early as you can to maximize Settlement growth.
11 The Great Barrier Reef
Food, Happiness, & Science
The Great Barrier Reef is an oceanic Natural Wonder spanning four horizontal tiles that gives civilization a boost to surrounding adjacent Marine tiles as well as other resource bonuses. Depending on which map type the campaign is set on, it's likely you won't discover the Great Barrier Reef until the Exploration Age, as it tends to spawn in the Distant Lands.
Settling near the Great Barrier Reef gives civilizations an extra +2 Happiness , +2 Food, and +2 Science per Age and also provides adjacent Marine tiles a +2 bonus to Science. If you set up a Fishing Town and placing Fishing Boats on all the Great Barrier Reef's adjacent tiles, you'll get a massive boost to Science.
10 Gullfoss
Culture, Food, & Production
Gullfoss is a Natural Wonder inspired by a beautiful Icelandic waterfall on the Hvita River, and it provides massive Food yields to whoever settles nearby. Civilizations that are lucky enough to have Gullfoss in their territory will get a +6 boost to Food for that Settlement, which will accelerate Population growth in that location substantially.

Civ 7 Roap 2025: Leaders, Civilizations, & Update Schedule
Civilization 7 is going to give players a lot more after the game releases, and it has a roap for updates and events in the future.
Aside from the boost to Food yields, Gullfoss also provides +1 Culture and +1 Production to all adjacent rural tiles, meaning players will want to prioritize placement of their Farms or other improvements in Gullfoss' surrounding hexes. To boot, Gullfoss provides Fresh Water, making it an ideal settling location and ideal for Population growth.
9 Hoerikwaggo
Culture, Food, & Happiness
The Hoerikwaggo Natural Wonder is modeled after the mountain range of the same name in Cape Town, a landmark that was visible to Nelson Mandela from his prison cell during South Africa's apartheid. This Natural Wonder provides a boost to adjacent tiles with Quarters, providing +2 Happiness to Quarters bordering the mountain.
Hoerikwaggo also provides +2 Culture and +4 Food per Age, making the Settlement containing the mountain a prime candidate for City development due to fast Population growth and the boost to adjacent Quarters. Players should consider building their cities around the entirety of the Hoerikwaggo, if possible.
8 Igazu Falls
Food, Happiness, & Production
Located on the border of Argentina and Brazil, Igazu Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in the world and has one of the highest water flow rates of any waterfall due to its subtropical climate conditions. Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa's tallest mountain with volcanic activity occurring regularly. It's a unique Natural Wonder in Civ 7 in that it's a little dangerous to settle on, but the rewards might make it worth it. Mount Kilimanjaro consists of Volcano tiles that erupt regularly throughout a campaign, damaging buildings or improvements in adjacent tiles. However, these eruptions also provide one-time bonus yields and can actually be quite beneficial.
Mount Kilimanjaro also provides +2 Production and +4 Happiness per Age, making the constant volcanic activity worth the risk. Damaged improvements and buildings can be repaired for a relatively small amount of Gold, so don't worry too much about developing around this Natural Wonder and taking full advantage of its buffs.

Thera is another volcanic Natural Wonder, this time modeled after the volcanic island of Thera from Ancient Greece, or what is now the modern-day island of Santorini in the Aegean Sea. Much like the Mount Kilimanjaro Natural Wonder detailed above, Thera will erupt regularly and provide one-time yields to surrounding tiles that are damaged by its eruptions. Unlike Kilimanjaro, however, this will be located in Oceanic tiles.
Thera provides +2 Happiness and +4 Culture per Age, making it a strategic boon for anyone in pursuit of a Cultural Victory. Setting up Expedition bases on the Natural Wonder will provide massive boosts to any Settlement containing Thera.
