Monoco is one of the quirkiest and most interesting playable characters in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, with nearly fifty unique skills that can only be acquired by collecting the feet of defeated Nevron enemies around the Continent. Monoco is the last playable character you can unlock and has a relatively limited weapon selection compared to the other main characters. However, his wide range of unlockable skills more than compensates for this and gives you a surplus of options to develop a Monoco build that fits your preferred playstyle.
This article contains spoilers for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
As soon as you unlock Monoco during Act 2, you will also unlock his very first skill by defeating the Stalact as part of the main story progression. This first interaction explains how Monoco's skills work, and you'll get a first look at Monoco's Bestial Wheel, the central feature of his combat mechanics. Assuming you have Monoco in your active party, any enemy you defeat with a Monoco icon by their health bar will unlock one of his new skills. Each skill corresponds with one of five different Bestial Wheel Masks.

How To Unlock Every Monoco Skill In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Defeat Enemies With A Monoco Icon To Unlock Their Skills
As you develop your Monoco build in Clair Obscur, you'll have to defeat every major enemy type with Monoco in your active party. You'll know if an enemy foot is needed if you see a small Monoco icon above their Health Bar during combat, but it will only appear if Monoco is in the fight.
It might sound daunting to have to track down every enemy, and if you don't like having Monoco in your party 100% of the time, there's a good chance you may miss one or two. Luckily, there's an easy solution to finding nearly all of Monoco's Skills in Act 3, and it's called the Endless Tower.

All Secret Bosses In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (& How To Beat Them)
There are three "secret" bosses in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and each one is extremely difficult to take down if you're not prepared.
The Endless Tower is an endgame area that has 33 trials divided up into 11 stages. Each of these stages has a specific set of three different enemies, and a vast majority of the enemies Monoco needs to defeat are located in this tower. How you approach the Endless Tower is up to you, but just bear in mind that it can be very tough as you make your way to the top.
That being said, it's a great resource for collecting all Monoco's missing skills you didn't manage to pick up while exploring the Continent in the previous acts. As such, I've included the corresponding Endless Tower stage for each skill below for easy reference.
Both the regular Nevron version and Chromatic Nevron variant of each enemy will unlock Monoco's respective skill.
During combat, you'll be able to cast a skill and rotate the Bestial Wheel a set number of turns, which are indicated in the skill description. When you cast a skill while Monoco is wearing a specific mask, the skill is then considered upgraded, and you receive the additional bonus listed at the bottom of the skill description. Many of Monoco's weapons in Clair Obscur grant additional bonuses based on casting upgraded skills.
All Monoco Skills In Clair Obscur & How To Get Them
All Monoco Agile Mask Skills
There are nine different Agile Mask skills for Monoco, all of which can be acquired in the Endless Tower, but you likely picked some of these up before making it to Act 3. Agile skills have a range of useful additional benefits aside from the single-target damage, such as adding Burn stacks with Aberration Light.

All Monoco Balanced Mask Skills
Balanced Mask skills include Monoco's very first starting skill, Chalier Combo, as well as one of my favorite fire skills in his arsenal, Danseuse Waltz. You can get this earlier than Act 3 at the Endless Tower by visiting Frozen Hearts, the optional side area near Monoco's Station.

I'd recommend going to the Frozen Hearts area regardless, as you can collect the Eternal Ice needed to unlock the Monoco's Station merchant's entire inventory. He has a ton of great weapons, so it's worth the trouble, and you'll get a ton of great drops in Frozen Hearts as well.
All Monoco Caster Mask Skills
Monoco's Caster Mask skills include some of the most powerful in his arsenal, such as the Creation Void attack that deals three hits of extreme Void damage. If you're facing a single enemy, this will do ridiculous amounts of damage, as each cast that hits the same enemy gets an increased damage buff. However, if you're up against multiple opponents, this is a bit of a gamble.

How New Game+ Works In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (& What Carries Over)
As you finish up the final Act of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you will have the option to start over in NG+ with the same weapons and skills.
The Caster Skills also include Monoco's best skills, including Orphelin Cheers,
Pelerin Heal,
Potier Energy, and
Troubadour Trumpet, which grants a random Buff to all allies. These are all skills I recommend for buffing the rest of your party with a tank build using Monoco.

Just make sure Monoco has ample Speed by increasing Agility and using Speed-boosting Pictos, or you won't be able to use these buffs often enough for them to matter.
All Monoco Heavy Mask Skills
Monoco's Heavy Mask skills are the most abundant and diverse, with a range of useful skills and offensive attacks with various elements, particularly Monoco's few Earth-based skills. These include Hexga Crush,
Glaise Earthquakes, and
Eveque Spear.

The Grosse Tete Whack can be picked up from the option Grosse Tete boss on The Continent in front of the Coastal Cave. Get ready to parry, because this boss will just bounce on your party until it eventually explodes.
All Monoco Almighty Mask Skills
There are only three Almighty Mask skills, but as you can imagine, they are quite a bit stronger than Monoco's other skills. Duallist Storm is possibly Monoco's best offensive skill, dealing four hits of extreme Physical damage, and it can also Break. I'd recommend having this as part of his build as soon as you unlock it, whether you use him as a unit or not.

Overall, you will be able to collect all of Monoco's skills as you progress through the game, and while the enemy types that unlock each skill are obvious after the fact by simply reading their names, you won't see those until you unlock them. The Endless Tower is a great resource for collecting all the skills you missed by Act 3 of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Just make sure you have properly set up your party and have a good grasp on the dodging and parrying mechanics, or else it's going to be harder than it needs to be.
