If you've made it as far as the Floating Cemetery in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, there's no doubt you're familiar with the various White Nevron side quests found across the Continent. This particular White Chalier Nevron in Floating Cemetery is a bit different, however, and will challenge you to a duel when you confront it in the courtyard. At this point, your decision about whether to kill or spare the Chalier in Floating Cemetery should largely depend on your decisions with the previous White Nevrons you've run into.
White Nevrons in Clair Obscur are a unique NPC that will not be automatically hostile in most cases, and they each have an associated quest to complete. Finishing each of the White Nevron side quests will unlock the "Aiding The Enemy" achievement/trophy, though the trophy will unlock whether you choose to kill or spare any or all of them. There's a great reward for sparing all the White Nevrons, including the Chalier at Floating Cemetery, but you'll be missing out on an excellent Pictos if you don't kill it.

What Happens If You Kill The Chalier In Floating Cemetery In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Receive The Auto Powerful Pictos For Killing The Chalier
When you first enter the Floating Cemetery area, you'll see the Chalier in the courtyard, and you can speak with it to choose a weapon. The weapon you choose will be the one he uses in the duel once you enter the structure and face off against the Chalier. Each weapon has a different move set, but I personally think the axe is the easiest to parry, so that's what I opted for. It doesn't make a difference which weapon you choose in of rewards, so this is strictly a matter of preference.

How To Unlock The Secret Baguette Weapon In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
If you want to get your hands on the secret Baguette weapons in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, you might want to hang on to those festival tokens.
After defeating the Chalier in a duel, it will be ashamed and ask that you end its life. If you accept its request, it will die, and you will be rewarded with the NG+ run in Clair Obscur.
What Happens If You Spare The Floating Cemetery Chalier In Clair Obscur
Recieve 100x Colour Of Lumina From Blanche
While the Auto Powerful Pictos might be enticing, sparing the Chalier will yield an arguably better prize later on. Sparing all the White Nevrons is essential in obtaining the best reward from Blanche in The Fountain area. Blanche is the head White Nevron and doesn't appreciate it if you decided to kill any of his White Nevron companions, including the Chalier at Floating Cemetery, who wants to die.
For whatever reason, asking the Chalier why he wants to die will count as sparing it, and you will not be able to get the Auto Powerful Pictos.
If you spare all the White Nevrons and the Chalier at Floating Cemetery, you'll be rewarded with 100x Colour of Lumina from Blanche. If you killed any of the White Nevrons or let the Chalier die, you will have to fight Blanche and will only receive 10x Colour of Lumina and some further upgrade materials.
You Should Spare The Chalier In Floating Cemetery
The Auto Powerful Pictos Is Good, But Can Always Be Picked Up In NG+
Unless you have already killed another White Nevron in previous areas, I would recommend sparing the Chalier in Floating Cemetery, despite its wishes for you to end its life and the Clair Obscur Pictos as a reward. If you managed to avoid killing all the White Nevrons so far, you're nearly at the finish line in of getting the best reward from Blanche. The 100x Colour of Lumina is well worth it by comparison, and you can always pick up the Pictos from the Chalier in your NG+ run.

How To Win All Gestral Games In Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
There are five different Gestral Game challenges in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and they are a nice change of pace from all the intense combat.
However, if you've already killed a White Nevron up to this point, you might as well end this one's life and collect the Pictos, as you're already locked out of the 100x Colour of Lumina anyway. Overall, while it's generally better to spare all the White Nevrons, including the Chalier in Floating Cemetery, it's an all-or-nothing situation. If you want to avoid a fight with Blanche and get the 100x Colour of Lumina, be sure to spare all the White Nevrons you come across in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
