Warning! Spoilers for Cobra Kai season 6, part 3 ahead!

Cobra Kai introduced several powerful fighters, but the series' ending makes it possible to definitively rank their overall strength. Of course, this isn't a straightforward process. One of the significant lessons of the Karate Kid franchise is that strength and technical skill don't always determine who will win a fight. ion and a steadfast belief in a dojo's teachings will often allow a fighter to win against a more powerful opponent. This is demonstrated countless times in Cobra Kai, especially. These character all have wins and losses, but their individual strength and power varies.

The Sekai Taikai was an effective way to demonstrate the The Iron Dragon dojo brought fighters so strong that they were frequently compared to machines. Then, there are the other various characters in Cobra Kai. Some students had less experience, while some adults had aged past their prime—so where do they all stand in the end?

20 Anthony LaRusso

Anthony Hasn't Quite Reached His Full Capabilities

Anthony LaRusso was among the characters least interested in karate at the start of Cobra Kai. He was a bit lazy and entitled, leaving Daniel LaRusso's karate-kid legacy to his older sister, Sam. However, when things went south with Kenny Payne, Anthony suddenly became motivated to learn to defend himself. By the end of Cobra Kai, he had come a rather long way, but Anthony was still nowhere near the skill level of his fellow Miyagi-Dos. The final episode of Cobra Kai saw Daniel and Johnny devise a plan to develop Anthony's skills, but he isn't quite there yet.

19 Raymond "Stingray" Porter

Stingray Is Just Good Enough

Raymond, better known as Stingray, is a primarily comedic character in Cobra Kai. He started as one of Johnny's adult students, but things got pretty intense when John Kreese and Terry Silver took over. Regardless, Stingray managed to develop some skill and confidence in karate under the banner of Cobra Kai. The final episode of the Netflix series reveals that Johnny hired Stingray to teach younger, less experienced students at a secondary Cobra Kai location. While this character himself wouldn't be able to hold his own against fighters like Miguel, he should be effective at introducing youngsters to the craft.

18 Devon Lee

Devon Is On Her Way To The Top

There's no doubt that Devon Lee is a capable fighter in Cobra Kai. She first ed up with Johnny's dojo when he needed a female fighter for the All-Valley tournament, but Devon quickly became one of her sensei's favorites. Under his training, Devon managed to qualify as one of Miyagi-Do's six fighters in the Sekai Taikai. Unfortunately, it's unclear in Cobra Kai season 6 whether she could have managed this without cheating. At the end of Cobra Kai, it's clear that Devon is on her way to being Johnny's top student at the new dojo—but she still needs time and practice.

17 Demetri Alexopoulos

Demetri Is Another Classic Underdog

Demetri is a prime example of all that the Karate Kid franchise represents. He started the series as a nerd through and through, and Demetri quickly realized that the brutality of karate just wasn't for him. However, with a bit of a push from first Johnny and then Daniel, it eventually became clear that Demetri had some hidden underdog talent. He surprised everyone by qualifying for Miyagi-Do's Sekai Taikai team, and he really held his own throughout the competition. Demetri had no real shot at being a captain, and he still fell short compared to Eli and Kenny, but this Cobra Kai character demonstrated moderate strength.

16 Kenny Payne

Kenny Developed His Strength Quickly

Kenny is another Cobra Kai character who started out weak and vulnerable but managed to develop into a truly frightening competitor. He was quite a pain under Terry Silver's leadership, but it can't be denied that Kenny developed astoundingly quickly under Cobra Kai's tenet of "no mercy." Unfortunately, when Devon cheated, Kenny was unfairly disqualified from being part of Miyagi-Do's Sekai Taikai team. However, the boy came to the team's rescue in Barcelona, earning several points in the tag-team round and proving once and for all that he is a stand-out fighter.

Devon itted she had cheated in Cobra Kai season 6, part 2, and allowed Kenny to take her spot in the Sekai Taikai.

15 Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz

Eli Is Even Better After Woking With Miyagi-Do

Eli, AKA Hawk, was Cobra Kai's star student for a time, at one point claiming the All-Valley championship. Of course, he fell into the dojo's pit of cruelty, throwing his strength around to the point that many people got seriously hurt. It took ing up with Miyagi-Do for Hawk to finally learn some balance, and he became an even better fighter for it. Hawk was another of the dojo's six competetors in the Sekai Taikai, and he managed to shine in several of the various rounds. Still, it was proven throughout Cobra Kai that, despite Hawk's strength, he couldn't quite hold up to Sam, Robby, Miguel, or Tory.

14 Sam LaRusso

Sam Is The First Miyagi-Do

Sam LaRusso is the original Miyagi-Do of Cobra Kai. She is the only teen character to have been taught by Mr. Miyagi himself, which naturally earns her a few points regarding technique. However, Sam's abilities go beyond this. She has proven herself time and time again, consistently making it to the final rounds of any tournament she entered, though sometimes falling short of the championship. Sam has always done well off the mat as well. Though Tory came out with more wins overall, Sam's pure determination allowed her to claim some impressive victories.

13 Robby Keene

Robby Was The First To Get A Hit On Axel

As Johnny Lawrence's son, it's no surprise that Robby Keene turned into one of Cobra Kai's best teen fighters. Ironically, he began training with Daniel LaRusso at Miyagi-Do, so his martial arts foundation is rooted in practices of balance and defense. Later, Robby ed up with Cobra Kai, adding offensive strength to his developing abilities. Robby's biggest downfall is confidence. Whenever he fell short in Cobra Kai, it was because he had lost focus. Because of this, Robby can't quite stack up to powerhouses like Tory and Miguel, but he ultimately proved himself by getting the first hits on Axel at the Sekai Taikai.

12 Zara Malik

Zara Was A Devastatingly Powerful Force

As one of Iron Dragon's captains in the Sekai Taikai, Zara was undoubtedly powerful. Tory made the mistake of underestimating Zara in their first Sekai Taikai match, and she paid the price. Though not quite as untouchable as her cocaptain, Axel, Zara obliterated nearly everyone she faced off against, allowing her to make it to the championship rounds without breaking a sweat. Unfortunately for her, the final match of the Sekai Taikai required Zara to face off with Tory, who turned out to be too much to handle. Still, it's difficult to imagine that many other competitors could have come out so well.

11 Tory Nichols

Tory Is The Female Global Karate Champion

Tory is one of the few characters in Cobra Kai who started immensely powerful and only got better over time. This came down largely to her pure ferocity. Tory is determined, aggressive, and fearless—never afraid to strike first and strike hard. Of course, this wasn't always a good thing in Cobra Kai. Tory had to learn the meaning of mercy, but this lesson didn't diminish her strength in any regard. Though Zara proved to be Tory's most challenging adversary, she ultimately managed to come out on top, claiming the Sekai Taikai championship for herself and Johnny's Cobra Kai dojo.
