EA Sports College Football 25 was the first college football simulation game in a decade when it was released last year, but it seems like the success of the game is going to allow its sequel to get a lot of new features.

Per the game's reveal trailer, available on YouTube, College Football 26 will be released on July 10 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game will feature more than 2700 plays, thousands of college athletes, and more than 300 real-world coaches who have led some of the greatest college football teams in the modern era.

According to SVP and Group GM of EA Sports, Daryl Holt, the highly anticipated follow-up will enhance the aspects of College Football 25, saying: "With EA SPORTS College Football 26, we’ve deepened that experience, delivering more dynamic gameplay, vibrant stadium atmospheres, and modes that let players craft their own stories." Holt continued, saying: "From classic rivalries to the chase for championship glory, this game celebrates what fans love most about the sport and takes it to new heights.”
