Community definitely has a die-hard fandom that loves the quirks and humor that come from this show and its cast. With a dynamic, different, and lovable set of characters, each of them is truly unique and offers so many different great traits, flaws, and memorable moments.

As any fans that also love the world of Harry Potter know, everyone can be sorted into one of the four houses at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry - and that includes the study group. So, it's time to see where the sorting hat would place these characters, and who might end up sitting next to Hermione or Draco.

Britta Perry: Gryffindor

Britta could fit into a few houses, but she would probably end up sitting with Hermione Granger. This house has courage and determination, and they always want to do the right thing. Just like Britta, they can be a bit reckless, but they're daring to do anything.

Britta and Jeff might actually clash because they represent some different traits of this house. However, at the end of the day, Britta is fearless and persistent, and she'd be a great member of this house.

Dean Pelton: Hufflepuff

If there's one house where outsiders fit in, it's in Hufflepuff. Dean Pelton certainly has a Slytherin side to him, but he's mostly about making the people around him as happy as they can be. He is extremely loyal to the study group, which is a huge quality in this house.

Hufflepuffs care deeply about friendship, but they might fail to have their own backbone or their own sense of pride and self-worth. This is certainly Dean Pelton, and it's why fans can't help but love him. He's always trying to make people laugh.

Abed Nadir: Ravenclaw

Abed might be close to being sorted into Hufflepuff, but he's frankly too opinionated and values wisdom more than a member of that house should. Abed is wise and likes to be the individualist he is. This house is also creative and determined.

Like a Ravenclaw, Abed has all these traits, but he's also guilty of being a bit judgmental and cold to the people around him. He represents the best and the worst of this house. Regardless though, fans love all the quirks he brings to the table.

Ian Duncan: Slytherin

Ian Duncan doesn't really care a whole lot about anything but himself, and that makes him a Slytherin. That isn't to say that all Slytherins are selfish, but it is one of their most negative traits. Of course, Ian can be a bit unlikable since he's usually judgmental and manipulative too.

However, Slytherins also have their great qualities, and like Ian, they're confident, resourceful, and aren't super strict about abiding by traditional standards. Besides, Ian is loyal to Jeff and his friends when it really matters.

Troy Barnes: Hufflepuff

Hufflepuffs care about loyalty, and they have a free spirit and an inclination towards morality and equality. While Troy isn't exactly an activist, he always wants everyone to be happy. He isn't rude or hateful, but cares deeply about his friends.

He is the truest friend to Abed, and only a Hufflepuff could be as kind as him. They are caring and reliable, and Troy would be there for anyone who needed it. They like to do the right thing, which Troy usually does too.

Annie Edison: Ravenclaw

This house values intelligence and wit about all else, just like Annie Edison does. She is always trying to gain knowledge and use it to her advantage. She has a bit of Slytherin in her, but her cleverness and her leadership sticks out above the rest.

In fact, most Ravenclaws are actually said to enjoy the company of older romantic partners, so that's certainly right up Annie's alley and her crush on Jeff Winger. But mainly and most importantly, Annie is the smartest of the bunch.

Pierce Hawthorne: Slytherin

Pierce reading a Dungeons and Dragons book

Pierce is one character that wasn't exactly a fan favorite, and it's probably because he represents most of the worst traits of this house. Pierce likes to say and do what he wants, and he always wants to be the best and to be ahead of the rest.

While not all Slytherins have an inclination for evil, Pierce is definitely cruel, selfish, and willing to cross people and step on toes. He'd definitely be a villain of this powerful house, and wouldn't fit in anywhere else.

Ben Chang: Slytherin

Ben Chang is kind of a loose cannon, and those kinds of people might fit best into this slithery house. Chang is about as ambitious and cunning as they come, and he's shockingly resourceful and smart. He might even make Draco proud.

While he's certainly on the more selfish and manipulative side of this house, he also never gives up. This house has hard-working people who crave success, and Chang is all about coming out on top.

Shirley Bennett: Ravenclaw

Shirley smiling at the study table

Shirley actually has a great mix of all the houses, but if the sorting hat were to choose one, she might end up sitting with Annie at the Ravenclaw table. Shirley is also impressively intelligent and wise, and it makes her the great 'mom' of the group.

She also tries to be accepting and is unafraid to be who she is. These are pretty in-tune with this house's style, and any member of Ravenclaw should be glad to have her the Ravenclaw team.

Jeff Winger: Gryffindor

It's probably no surprise that this bold, courageous and ambitious character would be sorted into the house of Gryffindor. He definitely embodies that Gryffindor lion, and he is always about taking action.

In fact, one negative quality of this house is being overly honest and blunt, and Jeff can certainly be guilty of that. Mainly, though, Jeff actually has some chivalry tucked away, and is as daring and charming as they come.
