Now, via Variety, Conan O'Brien Must Go season 2 will be released on Max in May. Additionally, ahead of season 2's release, Max has officially renewed the travel series for a third season. Several first-look photos from season 2 were also revealed, which can be seen in the slideshow below:

In the travel show's second season, Conan O'Brien visits New Zealand, Austria, and Spain. The images reveal the return of Conan's famous frenemy Jordan Schlansky, his longtime producer who previously traveled with him for the Conan Without Borders specials and appeared in season 1's Argentina episode. The season 2 image shows Conan and Schlansky in front of a sign that reads "Juwelier Schneider Schmuckage," which is for a jewelry store located in Salzburg, indicating that Schlansky will appear in season 2's Austria episode.

By renewing the travel series for a third season ahead of season 2's release in May, Max is demonstrating immense confidence in Conan O'Brien Must Go. It's well-earned since season 1 received widespread critical acclaim, indicated by its 94% Rotten Tomatoes score. It also received two Emmy nominations, one for outstanding hosted nonfiction series or special, and winning one for outstanding writing for a nonfiction program.
