Countdown follows a suspicious murder in broad daylight, leading LAPD officer Mark Meachum (Ackles) to be recruited into a secret task force of undercover agents from all branches of law enforcement to investigate. However, as the truth of a more sinister plot becomes clearer, the team has to overcome their conflicting personal agendas to unite and save a city of millions. The first installment will consist of 13 episodes.

Camacho, who has also appeared in Bosch: Legacy and S.W.A.T., will play Amber Oliveras. Oliveras, a special agent in the Drug Enforcement Agency, has had the job for 14 years.
