Jensen Ackles’ 10 Best Movies & TV Shows, Ranked
Though he is best known for only a handful of roles, Jensen Ackles has appeared in several great movies and television series throughout the years.
It's also been revealed that Countdown will premiere on Prime Video with three episodes, followed by weekly releases after that, leading up to the season 1 finale on September 3. It's the exact same release format that Prime Video has used for The Boys, which also stars Ackles. Since season 2, The Boys has premiered each season with three episodes, followed by weekly releases after that. This is opposed to other Prime Video shows like Fallout, which opted for a binge release for season 1, debuting all eight episodes at once.
Our Take On The Countdown Images & Premiere Date
It Should Hold Jensen Ackles Fans Over Until The Boys Season 5
Though Countdown sounds incredibly generic and may never elevate itself beyond a run-of-the-mill action drama, it should appeal to fans of Jensen Ackles. For those who have followed him from Supernatural to The Boys, Countdown should provide enough explosive action anchored by Ackles' charisma to keep audiences invested. If nothing else, by premiering this summer, Countdown is perfectly positioned to hold Ackles' fans over until The Boys season 5 premieres sometime in 2026.
