When surprisingly challenging difficulty that made the Crash franchise one of Sony’s earliest flagship gaming franchises during the PS1 era – though lukewarm reception from players put the series’ future into question.
However, Activision assured fans that Crash 4 would be to upgrade for free, Toys for Bob has just provided an enticing look at several new features that will be employed on the new PS5 hardware.
Today’s 3D audio if they have a compatible headset, and the DualSense’s adaptive triggers will let players feel the buzz of Neo Cortex’s DNA-altering laser blaster, the pull of Tawnia’s grappling hook, and the suction of DingoDile’s vacuum cannon.
Furthermore, those who already own Crash 4 on PS4 will get to transfer their incomplete save files onto the PS5, where they can take advantage of the new port’s Activity Cards to track their achievements as they work toward getting the monumentally difficult “106% Completion.” Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be available on PS5 on March 12.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is already a fun and vibrant game, so getting to see the bright and colorful world Toys For Bob has put together is certainly an exciting prospect – as are the promised enhancements of the DualSense’s adaptive triggers and immersive 3D audio. It’s all part of making sure that players will get to experience Crash 4 like never before when it arrives on PlayStation 5 next month.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is available on PS4 and Xbox One, and it will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on March 12, 2021 and PC in 2021.
