The new indie cultist simulator Every Character Revealed For Cult Of The Lamb (So Far)The Cult of the Lamb Twitter announced a major patch this week that aims to fix these Ritual bugs, amongst other issues. The update first launched for Nintendo Switch and PS4, with PS5 and Xbox updates following closely behind. The patch addresses soft lock issues that prevented players from progressing, as well as the amount of Followers that enter the Temple, and it also adds Portuguese language localization to the game.

Cult of the Lamb's Newly Repaired Rituals

The upgrades in Cult of the Lamb provided by Rituals are an essential part of gameplay. Some create new permanent positions within the cult, like a Tax Enforcer who gathers coin from Followers or a Loyalty Enforcer who patrols the cult ensuring Loyalty. Between these cult additions and the ability of Rituals to provide beneficial effects like controlling Follower hunger, the mechanic is an integral and important part of Cult of the Lamb's gameplay loop, meaning a soft lock at every Ritual was severely detrimental to player progress and enjoyment.

Since the release of the new Cult of the Lamb patch, it seems as though the game's soft lock issues have disappeared. While there are still other, smaller fixes to be made to the game, like improving its performance on the Nintendo Switch, the player experience with the cute and creepy Cult of the Lamb has undoubtedly improved drastically with this update. Developers have stated there are many future plans for Cult of the Lamb both in of fixes and new additions, giving players much to look forward to in the coming months.
