Created by Gokeez on Reddit, this custom PS5 is designed to resemble the original design of the PS2. The resemblance is uncanny, serving as a nostalgic tour de force for the original, larger version of the PS2 console. Even the PS5 DualSense controller has been customized to mimic the old-school black PS2 controller, completing the look.

This PS5 customization is a trip down memory lane, and the amount of detail is so impressive that it even shares some of the design choices and light colors of the original PS2. The console is black and features a classic blue PS2 logo redesigned with a "5," lights that turn blue and green, and even cable ports that are virtually identical to the PS2's. Gokeez says they found most of the parts on Etsy for the creation, but the plates are from Dbrand, and they sanded down a PS5 retro DualSense controller to use on this console.

Fan responses have been almost universally positive, with the post currently having over 36,000 upvotes and 627 comments, almost all of them praising Gokeez's customization skills and attention to detail. Remy-Kun thinks it is one of the best custom PS5s ever made, commenting: "The cleanest ps5 I’ve seen."
