Matilda K. Rose, also known as Sasquatch in Cyberpunk 2077, is one of the toughest bosses you will encounter during the “I Walk the Line” mission. She is extremely strong and a cybernetic Hulk that requires more ingenuity and stealth to take down. While she is weak to fire, defeating her will require a bit more than going head-on, thanks to one of her unique abilities.

Sasquatch has a self-healing ability that makes her even tougher to beat besides her overpowering stature. She has a purple Crystal on her back that lets her heal and drag on the fight longer than any other boss in the game. So the best way to beat Sasquatch in Cyberpunk 2077 involves disabling the purple Crystal before you even start the fight so that she cannot heal herself during the battle. You should upgrade your Reflexes and Cool attributes before you commence this boss battle, as it will make the fight slightly easier.

How To Defeat Sasquatch In Cyberpunk 2077

Getting Through A Self-Healing Enemy

In the I Walk The Line quest, you will encounter Sasquatch when you proceed to the Cinema. After you go to the top of the escalator and look at the entrance, you will see that Sasquatch is guarding it. You do not need to fight Sasquatch; you can get past her with stealth, but if you trigger an alert or are detected in another part of the mall, Sasquatch will be waiting to fight you.

After achieving full funding in just ten minutes, The Cyberpunk 2077 board game has sured its goals by millions with two days remaining.

You first need to disable the purple Crystal, and you will need to begin the fight with stealth. Sneak up behind Matilda while she is distracted talking on the phone. You will need to use the most powerful weapons.

A good precision rifle, revolver, assault rifle, or shotgun is efficient at reducing Matilda’s health.

At some point, she will get up and run towards her weapon, a hammer, or rush V to hit them with powerful punches. Being a melee brute in Cyberpunk 2077, Sasquatch is super strong but slow, making dodging her attacks relatively easy. Once you have successfully avoided Sasquatch's attacks, shoot or slash her head to do maximum damage.

It is recommended to use ranged weapons instead of katanas and other melee weapons, as Sasquatch can do a lot of damage up close.

During the encounter, Sasquatch will grab and infect you with a virus your handy tech partner will try to counteract. The virus is not a big deal; it mainly flashes numbers (zeroes and ones) on the screen and can be a bit distracting. However, you can continue using the same dodging and skull-shooting strategy once Sasquatch releases V.

Applying a quickhack that sets the boss on fire is also useful for some periodic damage effects.

When attempting to defeat Sasquatch in Cyberpunk 2077, watch out for her dash ability, which allows Matilda to almost appear in front of V instantly. Proper dodging is the key to avoiding damage here - players cannot miss this ability, as it is telegraphed with a flashy animation that turns Sasquatch into a blur. With enough shots to the head, you can easily kill Cyberpunk 2077's Sasquatch and earn your rewards.

Rewards For Beating Sasquatch

The Consequences & The Rewards

Rewards and consequences for fighting Sasquatch in Cyberpunk 2077

After you fight Sasquatch, you will receive a fair chunk of change and street cred. You should receive $15,000 and 1500 Street Cred, as well as Sasquatch's Hammer. You will also receive a randomized smattering of loot, which includes a piece of Legendary clothing, a weapon, money, and a MaxDoc. This can make it worth it to fight Sasquatch, but like with everything in this game, there can be unforeseen consequences.

The next part of the quest has you talking to net runner Bryce Mosley, whom you can either make a deal with or knock out. If you do the latter, the virus you have will wipe out many Netwatch facilities and attempt to kill you.

Upon leaving, if Mosleyiss attacked, the Animals left in the mall would attack you as you tried to exit. If you did not kill Sasquatch and made a deal, the Animals will let you go and remain less hostile, but if you did kill her while they let you leave, they will be hostile if you return in Cyberpunk 2077.
