Previews for recently further delayed to November 19, 2020, with the game’s multiplayer component set to release later on in 2021.

Cyberpunk 2077’s latest delay puts it closer to the release window of both next-generation consoles, the free upgrades to the next-gen version once it’s available, which could come sooner rather than later if the game becomes a launch title for both the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

In a gameplay preview of Cyberpunk 2077interesting features like the Braindance module, there are some serious concerns about the game. Particularly, its shooting and driving mechanics, despite the fact that those are core mechanics that make up much of the game. According to the preview, the driving in Cyberpunk 2077 feels very bland, with no “weight” or “momentum” to the act, and it's apparently on the level of the notoriously lackluster driving in games like Sleeping Dogs and Watch Dogs.

The all-important shooting is another element that are allegedly “completely bland,” “flat,” and fails to really “show teeth at any point.” The game uses similar shooting mechanics as other RPG shooters such as The Witcher 3, which is dilsikedby some for its horseback riding and combat.

Cyberpunk 2077 is undoubtedly the biggest game CD Projekt Red has undertaken so far. The studio has put quite a lot of effort into making the game as detailed as possible, even going as far as creating over companion anime series to Netflix. So, hopefully, the concerns with gunplay and driving through Night City's neon streets will be either alleviated or completely fixed before the game’s release in November.
