There is an unlockable secret ending available in Cyberpunk 2077. This guide will help players learn what it takes to unlock it. While the campaign of Cyberpunk 2077 can be completed within 25 to 30 hours, there are so many side-events for players to participate in within Night City. Players will likely spend much of their time participating in side-quests to upgrade their gear and explore everything the neo metropolis has to offer. One of the things that will warrant multiple playthroughs of the game are the alternate endings. Depending on the decisions the player makes throughout the campaign can affect the conclusion of the game. There is a secret ending that requires players to do something extremely specific to unlock it. This guide will show players how.
For starters, players will want to complete the game before they try and aim for the secret ending. While the secret ending does add a bit more context and story elements, players should be rewarded with the ending they've been aiming for since the very beginning first. Once the game is done and the player has experienced one of the endings, the player will want to aim to complete every side quest in the game up until the Nocturne OP55N1 mission which is known as the point of no return. Here's how players can unlock the secret ending.
How To Unlock The Secret Ending in Cyberpunk 2077
The player will need to have a great relationship with Johnny Silverhand to unlock the secret ending. This includes going on side-quests with the character and selecting all the positive and ive dialogue options when they appear. Towards the end of the game, the player will be given the option to either let Johnny go rouge or to do nothing. In this case, instead of picking "Do your thing, Johnny", the player needs to look back and forth between Johnny and the gun for 5 minutes without selecting a dialogue option. This will cause Johnny to speak, saying he will do the mission solo. This leads down the path of the secret ending.
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the biggest games to release in 2020. While the game has received positive praise because of the setting, story, and characters, the game has been riddled with glitches and bugs that can damper the player's experience. Also, the last generation versions of the game don't run nearly as well as they do when compared to the new current-gen consoles. Regardless, Night City will be a popular location where players will want to return to every now and again.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
