The Daemon in His Dark Materials is an inner representation of who you really are and your actual personality. Although they spend a person's childhood changing shapes, they settle down and permanently stay once their person reaches full maturation.

INTJ - Owl
INTJs or architects spend a lot of time analyzing and obtaining as much knowledge as possible. INTJs are competitive and driven people, making it hard for them to make friends or not rub people the wrong way.
An ideal Daemon for an INTJ is the ferocious yet majestic now owl. Like INTJs, Owls prefer to work alone and can often accomplish a lot hunting on their own and finding a good place to build a home and avoid predators.
INTP - Weasel
INTPs are creative and inventive, preferring to get their hands dirty or to be challenged. They don’t like conforming to normal and they love to solve things. Often the most creative and hardworking of the personalities, the INTP only makes up about two percent of the population.
The weasel-like an INTP is a very creative and intelligent creature. For those that own weasels or ferrets, they know that they are escape artist and can be conniving when they’re not being supervised.
ENTJ - Lion
ENTJs are among the most desirable personality types due to their natural leadership and ability to stay calm under pressure. They have the charm and charisma to lead a group and also have the ion and drive to achieve anything they set their minds to.
A lion is a natural-born leader, with the species normally running in packs with a male alpha. Lions are ferocious, from the alpha protecting his pride to the mama lion protecting her little ones, you do not want to mess with a lion.
ENTP - Fox
ENTPs are the most argumentative personality type with a quick wit and thirst for knowing everything. They are mostly known as Devil’s advocates due to their uncanny ability to argue and always find a way to get their opinions across.
The fox is often seen as the black sheep of the canine family, being much smaller and less majestic than a wolf, and being less useful for companionship like a dog. Foxes don’t use their strength or their intimidation to get what they want and instead use their tricks and sneakiness.
INFJ - Rat
INFJs or advocates love to help, they love to be surrounded by like-minded individuals that want to make the world a better place and are creative. They have strong family values and prefer to be or be surrounded by good vibes.
The ideal animal for social and creative INFJ is a rat. Rats often get a bad rep as a nuisance but are among the smartest creatures in the world and they have strong family values. Rats prefer to spend time with their loved ones, often share the parenting roles, and even get sad when they’re not around peers.
INFP - Stag
INFPs are known for their laid back and introverted attitudes. They are the most optimistic and great listeners, often being mediators or neutral listeners. It may seem like they don’t have a lot to say but will talk your ear off once you get to know them. They will never it they want attention but will take it whenever they do.
A male deer or a stag is the ideal Daemon for an INFP. As INFPs stags are shy creatures at first but will warm up and trust you once they get comfortable. Being in the bottom of the food chain won’t intimidate you but that doesn’t mean they can't defend themselves.
ENFJ - Swan
ENFJs love attention, they love being the life of the party but are not arrogant or obnoxious. ENFJs are people pleasers and will do anything for the ones they love, always looking after them. They also say what they mean, often being firm on their beliefs and being reliable.
Like ENFJs, Swans radiate attention due to their immense beauty. Swans don’t wander far from each other and would rather spend time with their family than explore on their own.
ENFP - Dog
ENFPs attract people with their charm and personality, although they don’t look for it. They are often independent and prefer stability than the random schedule of an ENFJ. They can work alone or in a group, as long as the goal is being met.
Dogs are fiercely loyal and social creatures, either serving as a companion to their owners or thriving with other fellow dogs. Dogs just want to have a good time and are stimulated by activities and being outside.
ISTJ - Horse
ISTJs are the literal workhorses of the personality types. They have a good head on their shoulders and often have an unmatched work ethic. Sometimes they literally forget to take care of themselves due to their laser focus and are very logistical with everything they do.
Like an ISTJ, horses are bred for working long hours, naturally patient and intelligent creatures, when domesticated they became game changers for the working force. Whether you want a companion or help with heavy machinery, you can always rely on a horse.
ISFJ - Rabbit
ISFJ's are best known as defenders, because of their willingness to help and their overall selfless attitude. Sometimes their humble and shyness get confused for weakness but they are more than willing to stand up for themselves.
In the animal kingdom, there's no animal that gets downplayed like the rabbit. But they can elude and dash at blazing speeds, their powerful legs allow them to stay clear of danger and their familial bond keeps them protected with numbers.
