McDonough is a first-time feature director, primarily making his career out of television directing. This is far from his first time in the crime genre, however, boding well for Damaged. McDonough has previously worked as a director on prominent shows such as Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Killing Eve, and The Expanse.
