Audiences love and Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin. Based on initial reactions, the new series meets expectations as the audience score sets a new record for Marvel television.

The previous record was held by X-Men '97, the revival of X-Men: The Animated Series. Critics and audiences loved the series, with the audience score reaching 91% on Rotten Tomatoes. Daredevil: Born Again has ed that milestone, with its X-Men '97 still holds a higher critics score at 99%, while Born Again has an 83%, showing a slight disagreement between audiences and critics.

Daredevil: Born Again's Audience Score Compared To The Rest Of The MCU

Most MCU projects have high audience scores on Rotten Tomatoes. The highest audience score for an MCU film is Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, holding a 98%. There are a few outliers, such as Captain Marvel, which has a 45%, but that may be for other reasons besides people not liking the film. When compared to the MCU's television shows, Daredevil: Born Again is well above most of them, as most shows sit within the 80-90% range.

TV shows have been hit or miss for the MCU. She-Hulk and Secret Invasion sport the lowest audience scores for any MCU projects. However, several of the critic scores for Marvel Television projects are still high. Still, it's important to note that some reviews are only based on a few episodes, not the entire series. It's entirely possible the same could happen for Daredevil: Born Again's audience score, since most viewers have only seen the first two episodes.

Our Take On Daredevil's Rotten Tomatoes Scores

Daredevil's Rotten Tomatoes scores are good indicators that audiences and critics are satisfied with the series so far. Many critics have seen the whole series, so its 83% critic score may not move much as the season continues. However, the audience score could go up or down depending on how audiences feel about future episodes. Still, the first two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again did a great job at continuing what audiences liked about the Netflix series while introducing a new story and direction for Matt Murdock and Kingpin.
