New Daredevil: Born Again Set Photos Reveal Charlie Cox's MCU Hero Finally Getting His Black Suit

Charlie Cox's titular hero in Daredevil: Born Again season 1 is currently in the midst of its season, the next season is already in the works, as Marvel Studios is continuing the adventures of the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. Even though Daredevil: Born Again season 2 plot details have not been formally announced, more clues are starting to emerge through various set photos and videos.

While Daredevil: Born Again season 2 won't be arriving until 2026, longtime Marvel Comics fans will finally be getting to see Cox with his famous black costume. As production is currently underway on Daredevil: Born Again season 2, new set photos (via @petergcornell) reveal the MCU veteran with his black suit, as he is coming out of the water.

What The Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Set Photos With Charlie Cox Reveal

At the time of the release of the Daredevil: Born Again season 2 set photos, Cox seems to be the only character involved in the scene, surrounded by crew . Whether or not other characters will be part of this scene remains to be seen, but with Matt emerging out of the water, this may be coming off from a big fight sequence where he was forced to escape. It's hard to tell if Cox's new black costume has the DD logo on it or not, as this seems to be a variation of the Shadowland suit from the comics.

While season 2 may not be doing a Shadowland adaptation, the Daredevil: Born Again season 1 trailers have already indicated that Matt had at least one black costume made after Daredevil season 3. Given how other Daredevil: Born Again season 2 set photos have Matt being in incognito mode, the change to a black suit makes perfect sense. Since vigilante activities are one of the things that Mayor Fisk is attempting to get under control, Daredevil. Born Again season 2 is clearly looking to be even more challenging for Matt.

While it remains to be seen what this particular scene is about from Daredevil: Born Again season 2, it's exciting to see Cox finally getting another iconic costume adapted from the comics in the MCU timeline. Hopefully, as filming continues, closer shots of Cox's new Daredevil: Born Again season 2 costume will be revealed. But before fans can get to season 2, they will have to continue to catch every episode of Daredevil: Born Again season 1, with new releases happening on Tuesdays, only on Disney+.
