The first trailer for the MCU timeline will be Daredevil: Born Again. While production on Daredevil: Born Again season 1 completed in 2024, Marvel Studios is finally ready to show the world what is in store for the Phase 5 drama.
As Daredevil: Born Again is set to premiere on Tuesday, March 4, the show is just around the corner. After a long wait, the very first Daredevil: Born Again trailer has finally been released to the world, previewing what is in store for the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. Check it out below.
According to Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays Wilson Fisk, a.k.a. Kingpin, the Daredevil: Born Again trailer was initially set to come out earlier, but was delayed due to the L.A. fires that are still affecting that region on the West Coast, with the actor explaining this matter on X on January 13. On January 14, the official Daredevil Instagram teased that something would be arriving the following day.
What The Daredevil: Born Again Trailer Reveals About The MCU Show
As Daredevil: Born Again ties to Netflix's Daredevil TV show, the new trailer picks up years after the final season, as Matt and Kingpin are still at odd ends. However, one of the biggest revelations from the footage is the confirmation that, at some point, Matt retired from being Hell's Kitchen's protector, stating that a line was crossed, suggesting that Daredevil did something that he can't come back from. While Daredevil will cross paths with Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher, new heroes and villains are set to serve a big role in the story.
While keeping a lot of mystery around them, the Daredevil: Born Again trailer also gives a deeper look at Marvel's superhero, White Tiger, and the villainous Muse. Kingpin's mayoral campaign also takes a big spotlight, showcasing that Fisk is more powerful than ever, giving Matt his toughest challenge yet in the MCU. For any viewers who have been concerned that Daredevil: Born Again would not live up to the dark action elements of the original Netflix series, the footage puts any of those concerns to rest as multiple fight sequences are previewed.
Our Take On The Daredevil: Born Again Trailer
From everything that was featured in the Daredevil: Born Again trailer, it seems that Marvel Studios and Disney+'s overhaul of the Phase 5 show was absolutely worth it. Not only does Daredevil: Born Again look and feel like a proper Daredevil sequel, but the Disney+ series is potentially even looking to raise the bar for Cox's titular hero. With the first Daredevil: Born Again trailer now released, time will tell what else is in store for the MCU drama.
