In the current Marvel Comics continuity, two heroes are operating as Daredevil. Matt Murdock had continued fighting as his usual superhero persona but was ed by Elektra Natchios, who took on the role when he was imprisoned and continued alongside him with it afterward. With Murdock believed dead following the Devil's Reign event, Matt has fully embraced being Daredevil - leaving New York City to take on The Hand and rule The Fist. However, before he can officially lead The Hand, he and Elektra will need to complete a deadly ceremony, which will change their roles and titles in the Marvel Universe.
In Daredevil #4 by Chip Zdarsky, Rafael De Latorre, Matthew Wilson, and VC's Clayton Cowles from Marvel Comics, Matt Murdock assembles his crew to take on The Hand, including Doc Samson. However, after learning Stick is helping them and is responsible for finding the texts of The Fist, both Daredevils end up going on a dangerous test to become the organization's leaders. The Daredevils face off against an army of undead warriors from The Hand, and after defeating them in a tense battle, they are given the new titles and roles of King and Queen of The Fist.
Both Daredevils' New Roles and Titles are Setting Them Up for an Epic Battle Against Punisher
By becoming the new Queen and King of the Fist and becoming husband and wife, Marvel's Daredevils are setting up for an epic battle against Punisher. Currently, Frank Castle is working alongside The Hand as the Fist of the Beast, meaning that he is their greatest and deadliest warrior. However, with Matt and Elektra's new roles and titles in the Marvel Universe, there's little doubt the pair will be forced to take on their former ally in a fight between good and evil.
Marvel's Daredevils just became closer than ever before, as becoming the King and Queen of the Fist gives them the title they desired in their efforts to stop The Hand.
