Jessica Jones. Now Daredevil season 2 is set to arrive in just under a month (at the time of writing this), and fans are once again eager to revisit the continuing adventures of blind superhero/attorney Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) as he fights to preserve the peace in New York's embattled Hell's Kitchen neighborhood.

Marvel/Netflix have now unveiled a second full-length trailer for Daredevil season 2. Whereas Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung).

While there's plenty of action and intrigue to be found, some fans may be left frustrated by what they're still not being shown. Punisher's presence is minimized in this new trailer - and while Foggy (Elden Henson) and Karen (Deborah Ann Woll) are present and The Kingpin. Though not "officially" named as part of Season 2, fans are widely expecting to see Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk return in some capacity, as the overarching story looks to be borrowed largely from Frank Miller's Daredevil/Elektra comics storyline, which re-introduced the revamped version of The Kingpin (formerly a Spider-Man foe) to the Marvel Universe and made him a fixture of Daredevil's life for decades. Also AWOL are any signs of hope-for cameos by other Hell's Kitchen-based heroes, though Rosario Dawson's Marvel/Netflix series-hopping nurse Claire Temple is back.

Speaking of Elektra, the trailer gives fans their first extended look at Yung (whose next film role is in Gods of Egypt) handling her action/fight sequences as the character, which all look very impressive. Of note, in keeping with the series' tendency (thus far) to downplay the costumed side of superheroic life, there's still no indication that Elektra is making use of her iconic red ninja/acrobat outfit from the comics - in fact, the closest she seems to get is a turtleneck scarf used to disguise her face in certain scenes. The first season made fans wait until the final throwdown with Fisk to see Daredevil's "proper" costume (or at least a Netflix-budget facsimile thereof) so it's possible that Elektra fans will just have to be patient - though her signature look has proved difficult to translate to live-action at least twice before.
