The Defenders. Although the crossover wasn't executed as well as many would've liked, it still brought these four different heroes and several of the ing characters into each other's lives. The interactions between them all was the highlight of The Defenders and has only encouraged more crossover between the shows.
The first true example of this was Finn Jones making a guest appearance as Danny Rand aka Iron Fist in season 2 of exploring the Daughters of the Dragon relationship between Colleen and Misty Knight (Simone Missick). Fans have only continued to ask for more crossovers as a result, but that won't happen with the new season of Daredevil.

Screen Rant had the opportunity to visit the set of Daredevil season 3 and spoke to new showrunner Erik Oleson. He opened up about his vision for the 13 episodes. Unlike the most recent season of the show and the last several for Netflix, Daredevil season 3 won't have any crossovers of significance. Oleson said:
I wanted it to be standalone, I did not do crossovers this season. I wanted to really get back to these core characters and use the real estate to focus on who they are and really fleshed them out before I introduced external and other elements of the MCU, at least on the Netflix/Marvel side - I really wanted to get back to the core characters and tell a character-driven season.
As much as some fans would've liked to see Luke Cage, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Iron Fist, or Punisher (Jon Bernthal) show up, it's better to leave them out than to force a connection. Only Danny making an appearance would actually make sense anyway because Matt is believed to be dead. But, as the Iron Fist season 2 finale showed, he's off with Ward Meachum (Tom Pelphrey) on new adventures while Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick) takes his place.
Even though major cameos like these won't be happening, Oleson didn't rule out all connective threads. Mentions of what else has been happening in New York could still make their way into Daredevil season 3. The most recent seasons of new Marvel Netflix shows have featured plenty of crossovers with the other shows but also connections to the larger MCU (i.e. The Raft in Avengers tower finally is included, as the marketing is teasing.
